Benefit announces the return of its Bold is Beautiful philanthropy program this May

BenefitBenefit, the UK’s #1 Prestige Brow Brand, is delighted to announce the return of its Bold is Beautiful philanthropy program this May. Benefit UK & Ireland pledges to donate £5/€5 from every brow wax service to our longstanding charity partners: Refuge, Look Good Feel Better, and Daisyhouse.

Bold is Beautiful has cultivated a powerful community dedicated to empowering women and girls. Every contribution, large or small, fuels vital programs that rebuild lives.

A BOLD BEGINNING

Launched in May 2015, Benefit’s Bold is Beautiful philanthropy campaign provides a vital support network for women and girls. We address challenges ranging from managing the physical effects of cancer through self-confidence and well-being workshops, to providing safe housing for those experiencing domestic abuse and homelessness. Our mission is to help women and girls rebuild their lives, free from violence and fear, by providing education, mentorships, access to wellness workshops, and financial self-sufficiency advice.

Bold is Beautiful is fuelled by the passion of our teams, retail partners, and customers, who raise vital funds beyond the beauty counter. From brow services to silent auctions, energetic brow marches, and inspiring marathons, their efforts support women and girls in need. To date, we’ve raised enough funds to keep a refuge open for up to 3.5 years and host confidence-boosting makeup and skincare workshops for over 18,000 women. Globally, we’ve raised over $26.6 million, with nearly £2 million dedicated to supporting women and children in the UK and Ireland.

BROWS THAT GIVE & GIVE BACK

Every year, Benefit collaborates with leading retail partners – Boots, John Lewis, Marks & Spencer, Sephora and Selfridges & Co. to donate £5/€5 from every brow wax booked in May to our longstanding charity partners. This year, to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Bold is Beautiful, Benefit is going the extra mile by treating customers who book a brow wax to a free eye mask and complimentary lip & chin waxes too, whilst supplies last.**

“Through our Bold is Beautiful philanthropy program, your wax makes a tangible difference, and I’m incredibly proud of the real impact we’re having on the lives of so many women and children. It’s truly inspiring to see how our fundraising and awareness efforts are creating positive change. We must continue spreading the word and inviting others to join us in this important work. I’m especially excited that every brow wax booked in May will directly support our amazing charity partners – Look Good Feel Better, Refuge, and Daisyhouse – empowering women and girls within our very own communities. The strong community we’ve built through Bold is Beautiful, where our customers unite to support each other and raise funds, fills me with immense pride, especially as we celebrate our 10-year anniversary,” said Sarah Harbon, general manager, Benefit Cosmetics UK & Ireland.

“We are incredibly proud to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Bold is Beautiful with Benefit, one of Refuge’s longest standing and most dedicated corporate partners. Over the past decade, Benefit’s unwavering support has raised over £1 million for Refuge, funding vital, life-saving services for women and children escaping domestic abuse. From their iconic ‘Mascarathon’ to the powerful Brow March and Bold is Beautiful campaign, the passion and creativity of the benefit team – especially their phenomenal employee fundraising – continues to inspire us. This partnership is proof of what’s possible when a brand truly commits to driving change. We are so grateful to stand beside benefit as we mark this milestone year together,” said Gemma Sherrington, CEO, Refuge.

“We are thrilled to be involved in Benefit’s ‘Bold is Beautiful’ campaign in this, its tenth anniversary year. Since 2015, Benefit has raised over £1 million for the charity, helping us provide empowering workshops to thousands of people living with cancer across the UK. In the UK, someone receives a cancer diagnosis every 90 seconds, and with the number of people living with cancer set to increase to 5 million by 2030, Benefit’s support is now more vital than ever. Our range of services, focused on Skincare and Make-up, Styling for Confidence, Headwrappers, Services for Men, and Young Adult Workshops, can only exist through the funds raised from our fantastic supporters like Benefit. We are extremely proud of our long-standing partnership with Benefit and look forward to ensuring this year’s ‘Bold is Beautiful’ campaign is a huge success,” said Ian Daniels, director fundraising & communications, Look Good Feel Better

“Daisyhouse offers life-changing refuge, healing, and transformation to women experiencing homelessness and recovering from substance misuse. These women often face immense challenges, including violence, family breakdown, and financial insecurity, making independent rebuilding nearly impossible. With increasing homelessness among women and a shockingly low average life expectancy of 38 in Ireland, the demand for safe housing is critical. Our partnership with Benefit Cosmetics expands our reach, providing more housing and furthering our mission to end the cycle of homelessness. Together, we can ensure that no woman has to face homelessness alone and we can build a future where every woman has a place to call home,” said Ena Norris, CEO, Daisyhouse.
