Hobbycraft will be offering £5 off to ALL customers between Wednesday 1st March and Sunday 5th March in celebration of ‘National Craft Month’.

Originating in the US, the month was created to help everyone rediscover the joy of crafting, and for 2023 the UK’s largest arts and crafts retailer is bringing these celebrations to the UK as it continues its mission to get all of Britain making and creating.

The £5 discount will be available online and in all UK stores. Online customers can type in the code CRAFTMONTH5 when they arrive at the payment details page, which will automatically take £5 off their total, whilst in-store shoppers simply need to share the code at check-out*.

National Craft Month aims to inspire people to master a new hobby or refine a long-time favourite. Crafting can also help stimulate the mind in a positive way and alleviate the symptoms of stress and anxiety. Throughout the month of March, the retailer is hoping to encourage people to craft together and calm the mind through the power of making.

Alongside the £5 discount, Hobbycraft will also be offering 20% off selected in-store and online workshops from Sunday 5th March. Individuals can enjoy a variety of classes including spring wreath making, acrylic art painting, candle making, crochet creations and more. These are available to book via classbento.co.uk.

For customers who are hoping to master a new craft but don’t know where to start, the retailer will be hosting four FREE webinars that will provide an introduction to four different types of craft. These will take place every Saturday throughout March between 6pm and 7pm.

  • Saturday 4th March – Introduction to Weaving
  • Saturday 11th March – Introduction to Embroidery
  • Saturday 18th March – Introduction to Acrylic
  • Saturday 25th March – Introduction to Watercolour

The sessions will be hosted by a Hobbycraft Artisan who will bring their expertise in specific areas to offer advice and top tips to beginners. These will be also available to book via classbento.co.uk

Hobbycraft will be sharing a new craft project from its Ideas Hub on its social channels every day throughout March, offering unique ways to add handmade, personalised touches to every corner of your life.

Katherine Paterson, customer director at Hobbycraft, states: “Our mission is to support everyone on their crafting journey, from people using a new hobby to improve their mental wellbeing to independent makers using craft to kickstart an entrepreneurial career. National Craft Month aligns with everything we stand for, and we are thrilled to celebrate this day in the UK, by providing Brits with a wide range of craft inspiration, product offers and workshops throughout March in celebration of our craft community.”
