Aldi reminds shoppers of quietest times to shop ahead of Bank Holiday weekend

Aldi is reminding customers of the best time to shop ahead of the busy Bank Holiday weekend.

The UK’s fourth-largest supermarket has revealed that between 8am-9am and 7pm-10pm are the quietest times for customers to pick up their shopping.

Aldi has everything shoppers need for an amazing Bank Holiday. Whatever their plans are for the long weekend, customers can enjoy a vast selection of fresh British meat, vegetarian and vegan options, sides, desserts and a variety of drinks, all at the lowest possible prices.

The supermarket has also revealed that Saturday May 4th is expected to be the busiest shopping day over the early Bank Holiday.

Normal opening hours will remain in place at Aldi’s UK stores on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th May. Stores in England and Wales will then be open until 8pm on Monday 6th May, while in Scotland the closing time will be 10pm as usual.

The opening times of some stores may vary, so customers should check their local store on Aldi’s website before making their journey.

Richard Thornton, communications director at Aldi UK, said: “We know how much people love to come together over a Bank Holiday weekend, come rain or shine, and that there’s nothing better than enjoying delicious food and drink with friends and family.

“That’s why Aldi is here to help ensure you can pick up everything you need for the long weekend ahead, without having to break the bank.”

Click and Collect is also available to customers at a number of Aldi stores between 9am and 9pm Monday to Saturday and 10am and 4pm on Sundays, bank holiday times will vary. Customers at selected stores can visit groceries.aldi.co.uk to browse the supermarket’s range online and book a timeslot for collection, where all of their shopping will be brought to their cars and loaded into their boots by Aldi colleagues.
