Barista-loved brand Minor Figures introduces pioneering partnership with Wildfarmed

Renowned global brand, Minor Figures, today announces the launch of Barista Oat (Regenerative), the brand’s first barista-standard oat made with regeneratively grown oats from pioneering regenerative food and farming business Wildfarmed.

Wildfarmed growers all farm regeneratively, using a holistic approach to agriculture that works with nature, rather than against it, to restore soil health, reduce carbon, and bring life back to the land. Barista Oat (Regenerative) is a coffee-first product made with the future in mind, crafted with oats grown in harmony with nature, while delivering silky-smooth, full-bodied coffees.

At Minor Figures, everything is driven by a vision for the future. What began as a simple quest to craft the perfect cup of coffee has evolved into a journey of creativity, leading to a series of world-first innovations, including the first shelf-stable cold brew, the first organic Barista Oat on the market, and the first barista-grade oat powder, Barista Oat (Atomised). The brand continually refines its processes to remain at the cutting edge of sustainable practices, ensuring every product pushes the brand closer to its vision of the future: planet-first, coffee-forward, and always delicious.

Barista Oat (Regenerative) is the latest addition to the brand’s signature Barista Oat range and is designed for the most indulgent coffee drinking experience. It elevates any espresso it’s paired with, drawing out the sweetness to produce luxurious, full-bodied, and perfectly balanced coffees.

All the oats that go into Barista Oat (Regenerative) are grown by Wildfarmed growers who focus on farming to deliver positive outcomes for both fields and farmers. This approach regenerates ecosystems and allows nature and food production to go hand-in-hand.

Stuart Forsyth Co-founder and CEO of Minor Figures said: “We’re thrilled to be working with Wildfarmed to create a UK-first that’s pushing us closer to the future we want to see. Barista Oat (Regenerative) takes advantage of Wildfarmed’s pioneering regenerative farming practices which prioritise protecting people and the planet to create a product that’s in harmony with both nature and coffee.”

Edd Lees, Wildfarmed co-founder, commented: “We’re really proud to be partnering with Minor Figures. This is an exciting moment for Wildfarmed, as it’s the first time our oats are being used in plant-based milks. Oats are a regenerative powerhouse and a key part of our growers’ rotation – they rebuild soil structure, prevent nutrient loss, support soil biology, and increase resilience. Our goal has always been to accelerate the transition to regenerative agriculture, and Barista Oat (Regenerative) gives people the option to choose an oat that helps to support farmers and bring back nature-rich landscapes with every sip.”

In addition to being regeneratively grown and made in the UK, Barista Oat (Regenerative) is 100% plant-based, B Corp certified, and barista standard. It’s gluten-free and fortified with vitamins and minerals to support a healthy, plant-based diet.

Available in Waitrose nationwide from 13th October 2025
