Whole Foods Market - Retailer NewsThis September, Whole Foods Market is focusing on Better Beauty, encouraging customers to make the swap to clean beauty to save 25% on their beauty shop in-store. Between 20th September – 3rdOctober, the retailer is encouraging customers to bring their conventional skin, face or body care products (empty or full) in store and pop them into its designated recycling bins.*

It can be any product at all – whether it’s an old favourite that customers have found out contains harmful chemicals, a product that doesn’t have rigorous animal welfare standards or just something their skin isn’t get along with, they can find a new, clean, option with Whole Foods Market.

In return, a member of the Whole Foods Market team will provide customers with a 25% off voucher to spend on their entire skin face or body care beauty shop in any of the UK stores.

All beauty containers that are full, or partially full will be collected by Toiletries Amnesty, a social, ethical and environmental organisation that makes access to hygiene essentials easy for those in need, while stopping masses of surplus products from going to waste. Toiletries Amnesty donates the products to homeless shelters and hostels, women’s refuges, mental health services, NHS Trust services and many other organisations that need their support.

The empty products will be recycled by My Group Ltd, a family-run business that has been at the forefront of recycling for 30 years.

Whole Foods Market believe what goes on your body is as important as what goes in it. That’s why its beauty and body care standards go beyond typical “clean beauty” claims. Its high standards apply to all beauty and body care products in our stores, banning 180+ ingredients and counting, and its experts review the latest research on beauty and body care ingredients for many factors including possible impacts on the environment and human health.

* Sale valid from 20/09 – 03/10/23. 25% discount will apply off the full retail price during the sale period when conventional empty, used or unopened containers are brought into store to swap for a voucher. Empty, partially used and unopened products. Excludes all supplements, including beauty supplements. Cannot be combined with any other discounts. While supplies last. Quantity limits apply. Quantities limited. For a full list of beauty categories included in the sale, please speak to a Team Member.
