GroceryAid has announced its 2023 award winners, with 440 organisations achieving an award in recognition of their help in fundraising, increasing awareness and providing expertise for the industry charity throughout last year.

See a full list of award winners on GroceryAid’s website, www.groceryaid.org.uk/awards

The results show that throughout 2023, GroceryAid received more industry support than ever before, with an incredible 30% increase in winners, which includes 57 companies receiving an award for the first time.

Kieran Hemsworth, CEO at GroceryAid, says: “Together, these organisations have helped us help more colleagues than ever before, at a time when they need our support. In 2022/23 we provided over 40,000 incidents of support to industry colleagues, which represented a 44% year on year increase. This reflects the impact of the cost-of-living crisis as well as our joint effort to drive awareness of GroceryAid’s welfare offer. “

The GroceryAid Awards is an inclusive annual programme allowing organisations, both large and small, to demonstrate how they support GroceryAid, and in turn industry colleagues. The 2024 Awards are now open. To find out more click here.

Any colleague working in the grocery industry can access emotional, practical support, and financial advice, from the first day of their employment. Colleagues can call GroceryAid’s free and confidential Helpline (08088 021 122), which is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
