Kallo launches new high fibre Popped Corn Cakes in six indulgent flavours

Kallø, the natural food brand owned by Ecotone UK, is taking its sweet snack range to new heights with the launch of its new Popped Corn Cake range – simultaneously tapping into the fibre-maxxing trend and demand for permissible indulgence.

Inspired by traditional bags of cinema popcorn, Kallø Popped Corn Cakes (RRP, £2.75) will initially launch in six indulgent flavours: Cinnamon, Caramel, Buttery Toffee, Dark Chocolate with Sea Salt, Dark Chocolate with Salted Caramel and Sweet & Salty.

The new range is coming to Waitrose stores from late July 2026 and Tesco from August 2026, RRP £2.75.

Designed for consumers enjoying evening treats without the guilt, Kallø Popped Corn Cakes provide health benefits from natural, clean ingredients and are HFSS compliant, but with delicious treat flavours that have strong appeal with shoppers.

The natural choice for healthier snacking, Kallø Popped Corn Cakes are high in fibre, serving up 7.8g fibre per three-cake serving. Giving shoppers an alternative to ultra-processed sweet treats, the range has a minimal list of ingredients that are 100% natural with nothing artificial, and is gluten-free and vegetarian friendly.

Caroline Mitchell, Kallo brand controller at Ecotone UK, says: “This is Ecotone’s biggest-ever product launch and reflects how consumer attitudes to snacking are evolving. Shoppers are increasingly looking for balance in their diets, combining healthier choices with permissible treats rather than adopting an all-or-nothing approach. We’re seeing growing demand for snacks that deliver natural goodness, great taste and added benefits, without feeling restrictive. Consumers aren’t expecting snacks to transform their health; they simply want better snacking options that fit into their everyday lives.

“Our new Kallo Popped Corn Cakes respond directly to these trends. With growing interest in clean-label products, ultra-processed food avoidance and snacks made from natural ingredients, we believe they provide the perfect evening treat that satisfies sweet cravings while helping consumers feel good about their choices.”

True to Kallø’s values, the new range contains no artificial colours, flavours, or preservatives.

Kallø’s naturally different product range spans plant-based snacks – rice cakes and veggie cakes – and organic stocks and broths.

Part of the Ecotone UK portfolio, the B Corp certified brand is fiercely committed to delivering big flavours through natural ingredients.
