Pret A Manger, the freshly handmade food and organic coffee shop, has revealed its spring menu featuring a mixture of new products launching and much-loved customer favourites returning. From vibrant salads to flavourful wraps, refreshing iced drinks, a vegan-friendly favourite, and indulgent treats, the spring menu promises something for every palate.
As the days grow warmer, Pret unveils spring recipes including four new salads with innovative flavour combinations. The Chargrilled Pepper & Feta Pasta Salad is the only pasta salad in Pret’s entire menu, offering a heartier food-to-go staple. It includes tubetti rigati pasta in a red pepper & cherry tomato sauce, served with chargrilled peppers and roasted tomatoes, on a bed of salad mix with fresh basil, creamy feta, and a pot of Pret’s balsamic dressing.
Pret’s Green Goddess Bowl has crushed herby chickpeas with freshly sliced avocado, brown rice and red quinoa, edamame soya beans and creamy feta. The Petite Super Club Salad is the ultimate classic club sandwich reinvented as a vibrant salad, finished with a pot of Pret’s balsamic dressing.
Returning by popular demand and in-line with seasonality, the Salmon & Mango Bowl is back to join the new range of salads.
Pret is inspired to create exciting products using global flavours and seasonal ingredients, and this year is no different with the introduction of a bespoke satay sauce. Created as a homage to Pret’s Bang Bang sauce, the new satay sauce is set to be a customer favourite and is included across four new options, offering something for everyone.
The bespoke soya and coconut satay sauce is included in Pret’s Chicken Satay Salad served with carrot & mooli slaw and a pot of Pret’s zingy green dressing, the new Thai Style Avo & Slaw Wrap and Pret’s Chicken Satay Wrap both wrapped in Pret’s kibbled rye wrap, and the Sweet Chilli Chicken Baguette with crunchy cucumber.
Following the successful launch of Coolers last year, Pret is introducing two new refreshing flavours to liven up spring. The Raspberry Lemonade Cooler is a thirst-quenching iced drink combining the sweet and juicy flavours of ripe raspberries and zingy Sicilian lemon, and the Mango Sunrise Cooler is a sunny combination of sweet mango and zesty blood orange.
Those looking for instant refreshment can also try the new Raspberry, Dragon Fruit & Yuzu Juice, a vibrant red juice to with a zingy flavour.
For hearty options, Pret is introducing three new seasonal baguettes inspired by popular global cuisines.
Pret’s Chef’s Specials help to ensure newness and innovation within the range to continue attracting new customers, and exciting and delighting existing ones. Chef’s Specials are designed to rotate regularly, so customers are encouraged to savour them whilst they’re available.
New Chef’s Specials coming this season include the Tuna Nicoise Baguette, a classic recipe recreated in Pret’s stone baked baguette, and the vegan-friendly Artichoke Antipasti Baguette. Artichoke was a key ingredient that Veggie Pret chefs innovated with, and this baguette layers grilled artichokes with roasted tomatoes, chargrilled red peppers and red tapenade for plenty of flavour.
Inspired by the much-loved Italian Style Chicken & Basil Hot Wrap, Pret is launching the Chicken & Italian Prosciutto Toastie to warm up those colder spring days. Made with British chicken breast and Italian Prosciutto, the toastie is decorated with red tapenade, roasted tomatoes, sliced mozzarella, Italian matured cheese, and fresh basil on a seeded bloomer bread.
The vegan-friendly version of Pret’s classic Swedish Meatball Hot Wrap is back in airports by customer demand, as Pret’s commitment to providing veggie choices continues. On a layer of red tapenade, chipotle ketchup and red onions, the Meatless Meatball Hot Wrap is topped with red pepper and finished with a sprinkling of crispy onions.
For those indulgent moments, Pret unveils its freshly baked Raspberry & White Chocolate Cookie that customers will love and are also available in a sharing bag of five. Alongside this is another treat, the Peach & Almond Bakewell, made with a crumbly pastry base, a layer of apricot jam, topped with frangipane, baked peaches, and flaked almonds.
Customers looking to try the new Bakewell can visit a Pret shop outside of London where they’re exclusively available as Pret continues to accelerate its regional expansion with new menu choices into areas across the UK. Following Pret’s transformation commitment, the Bakewell is set to encourage customers to relax and take their time dining in Pret.
Katherine Bagshawe, UK food & coffee director at Pret A Manger, said: “It’s exciting to launch so many new lighter and brighter options this spring. We’re always inspired to create exciting products using global flavours and seasonal ingredients, and this year is no different with the introduction of our bespoke satay sauce to accompany new salad, baguette, and wrap recipes.
“We’re passionate about Pret’s menu offering customers choice – be that a range of high-quality ingredients, lighter lines versus indulgent treats, we want to make sure our range accommodates the broad tastes and needs of our customers.”
That’s not all, Club Pret subscribers will continue to get 20% off the entire menu as well as up to five Barista-made drinks per day for £30 per month, with the price frozen until at least the end of 2024.
