SymphonyAI, a leader in predictive and generative enterprise AI SaaS, today announced that REMA 1000 has migrated SymphonyAI store mobility, store operations, demand forecasting, and space planning and automation to SymphonyAI’s hosted cloud-based platform. Using SymphonyAI integrated, intelligent AI-based solutions in the cloud provides REMA 1000 with greater scalability and agility as well as reduced maintenance effort and cost.

As a SymphonyAI customer since 2015, discount grocer REMA 1000 uses SymphonyAI solutions to streamline store operations, automate space planning and planogram processes, and improve demand forecasting accuracy to better engage shoppers while increasing efficiency and driving measurable business impact.

“As a result of the productive collaborative effort between SymphonyAI and REMA 1000, we seamlessly completed a successful transition from our previous hosting provider to SymphonyAI’s one-stop-shop cloud hosting with end-to-end support,” said Fredrik Almstrøm, head of cloud for REMA 1000.

“We are pleased to evolve our collaboration with SymphonyAI to the next level of maturity with migration to cloud-based solutions,” said REMA 1000 Chief Information Officer Vegard Strøm. “With SymphonyAI end-to-end, data-driven SaaS capabilities, we can respond with more agility to fast-changing supplier, market, and shopper behaviors. The result is a win-win: a more customer-centric experience for our shoppers and more predictable business outcomes for REMA 1000.”

“We greatly value our multiyear strategic relationship with REMA 1000, and we are excited to give them the full benefit of the efficiency, security, and scalability of our cloud-based solutions to run core retail operations,” said Dusan Rnic, senior vice president for international in the SymphonyAI Retail CPG vertical. “We look forward to continuing mutual success with REMA 1000 in the years ahead.”
