Score sales this summer with new Pringles Blazin’ Fried Chicken

Following a successful roll-out across grocers nationwide, Pringles – the number one large-sharing crisp brand[1] – is expanding its convenience offering with a new, fiery addition to its Hot portfolio: Blazin’ Fried Chicken. Coinciding with a year-long, high-impact partnership with football legend, Cole Palmer, the addition is set to be truly unmissable for snack lovers across the country.

Launched in response to increased demand for spicy snack varieties, a trend that has grown by 23% across Europe[2], the new flavour joins the existing Pringles Hot favourites: Smokin’ BBQ Ribs, Kickin’ Sour Cream, and Sweet Chilli – each with its own unique level of heat and intensity.

The new flavour was inspired by the popular Nashville-style chicken from the US, voted one of the most appealing meat-style flavour options by Pringles fans2. Google searches for Nashville-style chicken in the UK have also soared, up 120% in the past 12 months3.

Awareness of Pringles Hot Blazin’ Fried Chicken with convenience shoppers will be amplified by the partnership with Cole Palmer, adding serious firepower to the launch and propelling consumer demand while creating huge opportunities for retailers.

Seanáin McGuigan, Pringles Brand Manager UKI, said: ” With the rise in popularity of hot and spicy foods in the UK, our new Blazin’ Fried Chicken flavour taps into this growing trend to give consumers more variety and choice when it comes to spicy snacks. We know it’s been a hit in the grocery channel, and we’re excited to keep sales hot by giving convenience retailers the opportunity to capitalise on this trend.

“Partnering with Cole Palmer for the launch of Blazin’ Fried Chicken was a no brainer – he’s infamous for being a cool operator, so it was a lot of fun to turn up the heat and see whether he could handle our Hot range! With this increased brand visibility and investment, retailers should ensure their shelves are stocked to meet demand.”

Pringles Hot Blazin’ Fried Chicken is available nation-wide at Bestway, Dhamecha, Parfetts, Sugro and Unitas – retailers should stock up now as this one’s a game-changer!
