According to new data from Ocado, there has been a staggering 190% increase in sex toy sales for dildos onsite compared to the previous year, as Brits are eagerly adding pleasure-enhancing items to their weekly shopping lists, placing sex toys next to their weekly staples.
The run up to Valentine’s has also seen baskets flooded with massage oil (45% uplift), dildos (50% uplift), and a 17.65% uplift in sales for vibrators.
With a range that champions self-pleasure, Ocado’s offering includes the pleasure-positive brand So Divine, which has seen a 57% increase in searches compared to last year. Whether solo or with a partner, Brits are seeking ultimate satisfaction this year, and nearly a third (73%) of baskets containing sexual enhancement items also feature ready meals. After all, who wants to cook when there’s fun to be had?
