This half term, Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW), has teamed up with the brand-new ad-free Sky Kids TV channel to launch an art-themed experience at Westfield Stratford City. In partnership with Crayola, the interactive pop-up will be situated in the North Gallery at Westfield Stratford City, opposite Primark and JD Sports, between 11th February – 18th February featuring a host of family-friendly activities that help kids’ imaginations come to life.
This includes using Crayola colour on a giant colouring wall featuring much loved Sky Kids characters such as Miffy, Pip and Posy and Morph, participating in Sky Kids character art workshops with painting, drawing, creative and doodle classes using Crayola’s fantastic products and lastly, experience screenings of some kids’ favourite Sky Kids shows.
Sky Kids is currently home to over 10,000 episodes on demand and a variety of linear partner channels such as Nick Jr., Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon. The new 24-hour ad free channel will inspire children and families alike, available at no extra cost for existing Sky Kids customers and NOW Entertainment members (£9.99 p/m) or just £6 a month for Sky customers.
Lucy Murphy, director of kids content at Sky, said “As any parent with a young child knows, great TV characters don’t stay on screen – they become much loved parts of family time and play time. We are delighted to be partnering with Westfield and Crayola like this so families can get creative with their favourite characters and spend quality time together”
Melanie Lalou, head of Westfield Rise UK, said: “This half term experience is a great example of how Westfield provides the perfect stage for memorable brand moments to be brought to life, with an avid family audience made up of existing fans and potential new customers for Sky.”
