Trigo, a leading provider of autonomous retail technology, including frictionless checkout, to retailers including REWE, Auchan, Tesco, Aldi and Netto, returns to NRF 2024 this year, on Booth 3112.
Among the highlights, Trigo will announce a significant expansion of its existing partnership with REWE, which will see the opening of three new large-format autonomous supermarkets in early 2024. It will also announce details of brand new partnerships that will launch the company into new geographies and a new retail sector outside of grocery for the first time in 2024, demonstrating its commitment to continued growth and innovation.
NRF 2024 will also serve as the launchpad for two major upgrades to Trigo’s technology platform. Real-Time Receipt is the latest extension of Trigo’s EasyOutTM frictionless checkout system which allows shoppers to select their desired items and walk out, bypassing the checkout. Now, Trigo has added the capability for shoppers to review their receipt in real-time, BEFORE they leave the store. This is expected to accelerate adoption of frictionless checkout by building consumer trust in the technology and bringing the user experience closer to that of traditional shopping. It also enables the implementation of frictionless checkout technology in new markets where retail regulations mandate receipts issued in-store.
Trigo will also unveil a new data analytics offering. Powered by Trigo’s advanced computer vision AI, the new solution collects and analyses real-time data on shopper behaviour and product interactions on an unparalleled scale, creating opportunities for increased operational efficiencies and enabling retailers to monetize in-store data with CPG suppliers and retail media companies.
