UK’s fastest growing fresh oat milk, Oato, lands Tesco listing

Oato,The UK’s fastest growing fresh oat milk brand Oato, have announced a major new listing in selected Tesco stores. From Monday 3rd November 2025 Oato Fresh Barista Oat 1 Litre (RRP: £1.75 ) and Oato Fresh Barista Oat 1 Pint (RRP: £1.10 ) will be available to buy from almost 300 Tesco stores.

Already having established a significant presence on British milk rounds, Oato has enjoyed impressive growth in the last 12 months with new listings across Sainsbury’s and Waitrose stores as well as with online retailer Ocado.

Once the preserve of those on a plant- based diet, oat milk has become a staple in households up and down the country, enjoyed on breakfast cereal, as a baking ingredient, or with tea. While almost all other oat milk brands on offer are UHT, Oato is fresh – and you can really taste the difference. Oato offers a high-quality, great-tasting fresh dairy alternative, at a price that shoppers can afford every week.

Commenting on the listing, founder of Oato, Carl Hopwood, said: “Getting Oato into Tesco chillers has been a real moment for us as a business. We are thrilled to be working with the UK’s leading retailer, making great tasting, fresh and affordable oat milk available to an even bigger consumer base. This is the tipping point – oat milk is for everyone, and Oato is leading the charge!”

Oato is a British brand that manufactures in the UK using 100% British oats. The company continues to make considered choices across its operations to help reduce environmental impact, such as powering its Lancashire bottling site with solar energy and reusing recycled brown bins as delivery crates.
