As both brands pass milestone anniversaries in the hospitality industry, Yard Sale Pizza and Ottolenghi Test Kitchen have teamed up for a collaboration pizza – The Ottolenghi Test Kitchen Special.
From humble beginnings in the back of Founders Johnnie and Nick’s backyard to recently opening the doors to their 13th store in Bermondsey, this independent brand has cemented themselves as pioneers of London’s pizza scene.
Known for pioneering some of today’s most iconic partnerships this recent collaboration follows suit. Ottolenghi Test Kitchen is the house of creativity in the food industry, where chefs and writers meet with the shared aim of creating incredible food for the rest of the world to enjoy. With ten international best-selling cookbooks, Guardian and New York Times columns, and a successful online store selling branded goods, OTK’s impact on modern British cooking is hard to overestimate.

And this pizza is nothing less than incredible as some of the UKs most renowned chefs and pizza makers join forces to create a pizza like no other. The OG Yard Sale dough and slow cooked tomato sauce is accompanied with crumbled lamb merguez, chilli seasoned sweetcorn and is finished off with an Ottolenghi staple, Zhoug because it would be rude not to.
Non meat-eaters need not to worry as there will be both a vegetarian and vegan option available, replacing the lamb with harissa aubergines for the veggies and the mozzarella with vegan mozzarella for the vegans – everyone’s sorted.
For those that want the full experience with ease Yard Sale will be selling a pizza bundle including an 18’ Ottolenghi Test Kitchen Special, toum dip and the Ottolenghi Chilli Sauce.
All three pizzas will be available from all Yard Sale shops for delivery, collection and dine-in from Wednesday 2nd October, until Tuesday 29th October.
Just like every Yard Sale partnership the collaboration will be giving back to a highly deserving charity. This time 50p from each pizza sold will be going directly to Magic Breakfast, the charity pushing to ensure no child in the UK starts the day too hungry to learn.
