One To Watch: Meaningful jewellery gifting brand, Joma Jewellery, has created a new TV advert to illustrate the sentiments behind the brands core values, as well as focusing on its new re-design of packaging and personalisation.
Created by Idol Films, the advert demonstrates special moments in friendship such as roommates celebrating a birthday, moving house and being bridesmaid on a wedding day. The brand enhanced these further in post-production to create a flashback effect showcasing building memories and friendship through time. The musical score of the advert was exclusively created for Joma Jewellery and adds further emotive feeling to the film.
Furthermore, the TV advertisement was an ADGREEN shoot, which involved the brand ensuring all elements of production were logged in order to capture how much carbon was used and offset through Ecologi. To reduce waste, the brand ensured that plastic bottled water was not used on set and encouraged crew members to reuse appliances.
Founder and CEO, Katie Loxton, commented “we wanted to create a meaningful moment and depict a relatable relationship that would capture viewers’ attention. We’re thrilled with how the advert has brought the brand to life and really taps into the genuine feeling and emotions that are core to the Joma Jewellery brand.”
Depicting different milestone moments and key life stages, the advert tells the story of an engaging and nostalgia filled friendship between two women.
Adding even more personal touches the advertisement was filmed on founder Katie Loxton’s birthday – continuing the sentiment of friendship and celebration on set. Katie Loxton launched her first company, Joma Jewellery, back in 2008, with the dream of creating beautiful, sentiment jewellery that can be worn over and over again.
