Pret A Manger announces an expansion of its bake-at-home frozen croissant range

Two of Pret’s famous croissants – Ham & Cheese and Mozzarella & Tomato – will now be available to bake at home

Pret A Manger has announced an expansion of its bake-at-home frozen croissant range with the addition of two new savoury delights, launching this week in nearly 300 Tesco stores across the UK.

The new croissants – Ham & Cheese and Mozzarella & Tomato – have become firm breakfast favourites in Pret’s shops, and will now be available to bake and enjoy at home for the first time.

The Ham & Cheese Croissant is made with smoked bacon lardons, cured ham, layered Emmental cheese and a rich tomato sauce. The vegetarian Mozzarella & Tomato Croissant is filled with mozzarella, chopped tomatoes, carrot, courgette and Herbes de Provence, with both pastries folded in Pret’s French croissant dough ready to be baked.

The croissants come in packs of two and will join Pret’s existing line-up of the Classic All Butter, Vegan, Almond and Chocolate Filled frozen bake-at-home croissants. The range has been a hit with customers since it was first introduced in 2021 and is now the number one brand of Frozen Croissants sold at Tesco.

Pret’s frozen croissant range is an important part of Pret’s ambitions to reach customers in new ways, helping to bring Pret to more people in the UK and around the world.

Now, we’re satisfying demand from savoury fans by introducing our renowned Ham & Cheese and Mozzarella & Tomato croissants to the range, meaning people can start their day with a variety of delicious Pret breakfast options at home or on the go. It’s an exciting next step as we continue to bring Pret to more people.”
