New Gin Liqueurs from Penrhos Spirits

Penrhos Spirits, the family-run artisan gin brand from Herefordshire, is proud to announce this week the launch of two new limited edition gin liqueurs. From Friday 18th October, consumers can enjoy 50cl Penrhos Blueberry Gin Liqueur and Penrhos Apple and Rhubarb Gin Liqueur, available from Amazon and the Penrhos Spirits website, priced at £18 and with an ABV of 20%.

The brand has chosen to re-launch their delicious Penrhos Blueberry Gin Liqueur just in time for Christmas, as well as a new Rhubarb and Apple Gin Liqueur following the success of the Penrhos Spirits Rhubarb Gin. The liqueurs can be enjoyed neat, on the rocks, as an aperitif, in prosecco or champagne, or even as the base of a fruity cocktail. They can also be used in cooking, and are the perfect addition to any Christmas bakes, desserts and even over ice cream.

Ever dedicated to sustainable production, Penrhos Spirits has chosen to package the liqueurs in 100% recycled aluminum bottles, which can be recycled and even reused as water bottles. The transition from their 70cl glass bottle to 100% recycled packaging earlier this year has decreased the brand’s packaging carbon footprint by 91%, a huge improvement that they hope other drinks brands will take note of and adopt themselves.

Sales director Harriet Evans is excited to add two new products to the Penrhos Spirits roster: “Our blueberry liqueur was incredibly popular with customers, so we really wanted to bring it back, and just in time for Christmas! Our Rhubarb and Apple gins are a firm favourite too –  that’s why we’ve brought out the two flavours together. Fruit liqueurs are so versatile and lighter than a classic gin spirit, so we hope they will appeal to gin lovers, cocktail lovers and fruit lovers alike!”

After securing a Sainsbury’s listing earlier this year for Penrhos Spirits Wonky Raspberry and London Dry Gins, as well as a partnership with EasyJet for 5cl Wonky Raspberry Gin samples, the brand is going from strength to strength and excited to be releasing two new innovative products for consumers to enjoy this winter.
