Altamura Vodka, crafted from heritage wheat, available to buy on Master of Malt

Altamura Distilleries

Altamura Vodka is now available to purchase on Master of Malt, offering a premium vodka experience rooted in the ancient grains and enduring spirit of Southern Italy.

Crafted from 100 percent Altamura wheat, a unique heritage grain cultivated for over 2,000 years in the Puglia region, this exceptional vodka (43% ABV / 700ml) delivers refined complexity with subtle notes of aniseed, pepper and lemon zest. The result is an elegant, smooth spirit that reflects both the distinct character of the wheat and the sun-soaked terroir of its origins.

The vodka is distilled with precision using a process designed to preserve the nuanced flavours of the grain. The result is a spirit that is both expressive and balanced, perfect for sipping neat or elevating cocktails.

Altamura Vodka also stands out through its distinctive packaging. The bold bottle design features a lioness motif inspired by the steps of Altamura’s cathedral, a symbol of strength and pride across the region. The label’s three coloured stripes represent the essence of Puglia: yellow for the sun, blue-green for the sea and red for the earth.

Founder Frank Grillo describes the spirit as “more than just a vodka, it’s a state of mind. Strong yet elegant, intense yet smooth. It’s for people who live fully and seek something exceptional in every experience.”

Altamura Vodka is available now through Master of Malt at an RRP of £32.50.
