Wingstop brings flavour to Ireland with location announced

WingstopDublin is about to experience flavour on a whole new level. Wingstop, the global chicken brand with nearly 3,000 restaurants worldwide and a cult following across social media, is expanding its European footprint by opening its first location in Ireland at Liffey Valley Shopping Centre this winter.

Known for its bold range of sauces and seasonings – from the fan-favourite Lemon Pepper to the sweet heat of Mango Habanero, the smoky kick of Louisiana Rub and the daring Atomic – Wingstop’s menu of wings, boneless, tenders, burgers, loaded fries, milkshakes and churros has already made it a viral hit across TikTok and beyond.

Fans in Dublin are already sharing sneak peeks of the new site online, building anticipation ahead of launch.

Operated by Lemon Pepper Holdings, Wingstop UK & Ireland is expanding across Ireland over the next 12 months. The initial rollout includes a flagship dine-in location at Liffey Valley in Dublin and a delivery kitchen in Dublin (available via Deliveroo) with an expected 20 sites to open across the island within the next 7 years. The Dublin opening will also bring new employment opportunities before Christmas, supported by long-term career growth through their Step-Up programme and Wingstop University internal training programme.

Wingstop UK & Ireland is also committed to embedding itself in local culture – partnering with grassroots music, emerging creatives and underrepresented voices in arts and fashion, while supporting charities and community sport.

Wingstop UKI representative said: “We’re excited to bring the Wingstop UKI flavour to Ireland – our first stop outside of the UK. Ireland has an energy that matches our own and we can’t wait to connect with local brands, creatives and charities to make a difference in the communities we will serve. We’re also proud to be creating more than just job opportunities in Ireland. Through our training and development programmes, crew members joining Wingstop UKI will have the chance to build meaningful careers, with leadership opportunities and the ongoing support they need to succeed. Wingstop UKI is a highly scalable business, and we have ambitious plans to open more locations across the country. We know our delicious wings and bold flavours will prove to be a hit with Irish customers and we can’t wait to welcome them in store.”

Maeve Foley, director of asset management at Hines Ireland, who are asset and development managers with Liffey Valley Shopping Centre, said: “We are delighted to be partnering with Wingstop on the opening of their first ever eatery in Ireland. In our constant drive to enhance the Liffey Valley customer experience, we know visitors will love this fantastic addition to our food and beverage offering at the Centre.  New to the Irish market but with nearly 3,000 restaurants worldwide, Wingstop is an exciting operator that will complement our extensive food and beverage offering. We look forward to their exciting opening at our newly refurbished Yellow Entrance, directly adjacent to the busy bus interchange that brings customers to the heart of the Liffey Valley concourse.”
