Atelier Rebul expands globally with first store in London to mark 130 yYears

Atelier Rebul Istanbul-Born Perfumers & Storytellers since 1895, Atelier Rebul is set to open its first store in London on the 6th of October to mark 130 years of the heritage fragrance and lifestyle brand. Located on Marylebone High Street, offering a brand-new design concept that promises a unique experience and represents the new face of the brand as it expands globally and celebrates 130 years of perfume craftsmanship from Istanbul. The opening of the London store marks a major milestone in Atelier Rebul’s 130-year journey. Founded in 1895 by French pharmacist Jean Cesar Reboul, Atelier Rebul has grown from an Istanbul apothecary into a globally expanding heritage lifestyle brand shaped by legacy, craftsmanship, and encounters. Inspired by Istanbul, the city of extraordinary encounters, the brand now brings its unique blend of heritage and modernity to London, one of the world’s most influential cultural capitals — marking the beginning of a refined new chapter in its international expansion.

At Atelier Rebul, each ingredient serves a specific purpose  due to the brand’s unique heritage and apothecary expertise that contribute to the product, establishing a significant perfume and home fragrance legacy. Atelier Rebul advances this heritage expanding globally with a broader cosmetic perspective. Fragrance remains central to the brand, merging tradition with innovation, redefining modern self-care, wellness and subtle luxury through a distinctive signature scent, bringing Atelier Rebul’s rich heritage to an international audience.

“The UK is an important market for us, and we believe it is one of the best countries where we can showcase our 130-year heritage and perfume craftsmanship. As a brand inspired by the cultural richness of Istanbul, it is a great honor to bring this heritage to a global metropolis like London. To reflect this, we designed our new concept to blend both heritage and modernism, with every detail from material selection to design elements carefully chosen to represent these values,” said Nüket Filiba, co-CEO of Atelier Rebul.

The store, designed in collaboration with the internationally recognized interdisciplinary studio Autoban, spans two floors in the heart of London. The design guided by the brand manifesto—The Alchemy of Encounters—frames the store as a site of meaningful meetings and discovery. Balancing scientific precision, poetic sensibility, and carefully selected materials, it reflects the dialogue between French apothecary tradition and the soul of heritage. More than a retail space, it becomes a sanctuary of fragrance and narrative—where mystery meets mastery and every visit lingers as a memory. The upper floor showcases the brands authentic fragrance collections and will house Atelier Rebul’s signature collections; Istanbul, inspired by the vibrant city itself, the spices of Grand Bazaar, a warm spicy fragrance revealing all of the rich colours of Istanbul. Istanbul Bosphorus, inspired by the unique Bosphorus, this aquatic fragrance reveals notes of sea salt and Turkish rose to create a feeling of relaxing and recharging side of Istanbul and a tribute to the founder,  J.C.R. inspired by the heritage of pharmacist Jean Cesar Reboul, as named after his initials, an earthy & grounding scent with century old labdanum, magnetic patchouli, leather notes evoking the elegance and refinement of a rich past. All of the signature collections will be available across the brands offering including Eau de Parfum, Candles, Diffusers, Bath and Body products. The lower floor of the London store houses an area dedicated to bespoke product experiences to fully immerse customers into the Atelier Rebul world creating meaningful encounters through aesthetics, rituals, and personal alchemy with perfumes & home fragrances -personal products are created using formulas rooted in the brands expertise in apothecary, and will offer curated experiences for personalized gifts and perfume workshops.
