Co-op’s festive sandwich range arrives in stores today, 22nd October

Co-op's festive sandwich rangeShoppers can rejoice as Co-op unveils its eagerly anticipated Christmas lunchtime meal deal range, landing in stores on 22nd October, marking the beginning of the festive season.

Fancy a double dip wrap? Building on the success of a festive dip ‘n dunk wrap launch last year, Co-op is introducing a first-to-market double dip ‘n dunk wrap which is reminiscent of a Christmas dinner with a pot of gravy and a herby crumb pot, allowing shoppers to dip not once, but twice!

Joining the double dip ‘n dunk wrap is a new vegan onion bhaji inspired sandwich, a luxurious beef wellington inspired sandwich and a festive wrap filled with the classic flavours of Christmas.

£50,000 from the sales of Co-op’s core Christmas sandwiches will be donated to Children’s Charity Barnardo’s*, including a new Festive Onion Bhaji Sandwich.

The donation is part of Co-op’s national partnership with Barnardo’s which aims to raise £7 million to support positive futures for one million young people across the UK. The partnership was extended in June 2025 after raising £5 million to help nearly 600,000 young people’s positive futures and is now in its third year.

Victoria Attwood, senior product development manager said: “Christmas sandwiches are often the first taste of Christmas for many shoppers, and expectations are always high, as consumers want some of the old favourites and to try something new and exciting.   At Co-op we sell millions of sandwiches throughout the year, but Christmas sandwiches really capture the imagination. Our new Irresistible double dip and dunk wrap might be a tongue twister to say, but it’s a glorious mouthful to eat!”

Providing added value for members and customers, the range is part of the Standard and Premium Lunchtime Meal Deals, priced at £3.75 for members (£4.10 for non-members) and £5.50 for members (£6 for non-members) respectively.

Co-op’s Full Christmas Sandwich Range:

New to the premium range, the Irresistible Turkey Double Dip n Dunk Wrap (£4.40) is designed to allow foodies to choose the desired amount of sauce and topping to finish off their wrap – adding additional flavour and texture to each bite.

British pulled turkey breast, hot honey roasted carrot ribbons, sage & onion mayo, sage & onion stuffing and baby leaf spinach sit inside a bar marked tortilla wrap, served with a sage & onion gravy pot and a rosemary, thyme & garlic crumb pot.

A premium main inspired by a classic beef dish favoured by many for those extra special occasions – the Irresistible Beef Wellington Inspired Sandwich (£4.40) includes British topside roast beef, truffle mayo, braised red cabbage, sage & onion mayo, stuffing, mushroom duxelle and baby leaf spinach.

Two new additions to the core range include a Festive Onion Bhaji Sandwich (£3.30) – a vegan option with sage & onion bhaji, Christmas spiced slaw, cranberry chutney, spinach, and apricot & mango chutney, and a Festive Wrap (£3.50) – British chicken breast, smoked British bacon, fried onions, mayo, spinach and sage & onion stuffing.

Back for its second year, the Festive Feast Sub Roll (£3.30) is a real feast for the eyes and tastebuds with sliced roast British chicken breast, sweetcure smoked bacon and stuffing with rosemary gravy mayo and cranberry sauce in a fluffy semolina-topped sub roll.

A match made to brie! This year sees the return of the Brie & Cranberry Sandwich (£3.50) which brings creamy Brie and jammy cranberry chutney together with seasoned mayo and spinach, sandwiched between slices of malted bread.

Inspired by an iconic festive duo, the Pigs Under Blankets Sandwich (£3.50) features British pork and mushroom sausage, smoked British bacon, rich balsamic onion chutney and onion flavoured mayo on malted bread.

Another festive classic, the Turkey Feast Sandwich (£3.50) offers tender British turkey breast, mayo, cranberry chutney, smoked British bacon, sage and onion & oat stuffing, topped with fried onions which sit between malted bread slices.

A taste of Christmas leftovers in a sandwich, what’s not to love? The Boxing Day Feast Sandwich (£3.50) is stuffed with beechwood and hickory smoked cooked British chicken breast, oak smoked British ham, coleslaw and a rich balsamic onion chutney inside soft white bread slices.
