Black Sheep Coffee is expanding into Yorkshire, securing a new development agreement that will bring its coffee to the county.
The agreement commits to a minimum of eight stores across Yorkshire, with openings planned across a variety of locations.
The territory will be developed by existing franchise partners, who have been part of the Black Sheep family since July 2025 and are now expanding their footprint into a new county.
Early openings are expected to focus on high-footfall shopping centres and high street locations, alongside drive-thru stores in prominent roadside positions. Together, these formats will allow Black Sheep Coffee to build strong visibility across the county and reach customers across multiple dayparts and occasions.
For many in Yorkshire, this expansion will mark their first experience of Black Sheep Coffee. Students and young professionals who may already know the brand from other university cities or hometowns will soon be able to access it closer to home, while new customers will be introduced to Black Sheep Coffee’s bold Robusta blends and challenger mindset.
Izzy Childs, EMEA growth drector at Black Sheep Coffee, said: “Yorkshire is a region we’ve been excited about for some time. With major cities, strong retail hubs and a growing appetite for challenger brands, it’s a natural next step for our expansion. It’s great to be extending our partnership with existing franchisees who know the brand well and share our ambition to build something meaningful in a new territory. We’re looking forward to bringing Black Sheep Coffee to the county.”
