London Essence launches UK’s only Zero Sugar Tonic

The premium mixer brand responds to health and premiumisation trends with two new tonic waters, including the UK’s only premium zero sugar tonic water free from artificial sweeteners

London Essence Premium mixer brand, London Essence, has launched Zero Sugar Tonic Water, the UK’s only premium zero sugar tonic free from artificial sweeteners, available nationwide in major retailers. Alongside it, Riviera Tonic Water brings a premium and flavour-forward option, combining Mediterranean rosemary notes with London Essence’s signature quality. Together, these new tonics cater to shoppers seeking health-conscious choices without compromising on taste, as well as those looking to explore elevated, premium drinking experiences at home.

Today, the drinks landscape is being reshaped by consumers who are no longer willing to choose between wellbeing and social connection, with 66% actively making choices to improve their health, and 23% reducing sugar from their diets. Moderation and mindful consumption are embedded in modern drinking occasions. In addition to these health concerns, consumers seek to prioritise meaningful connections and shared experiences, without having to compromise on taste or wellbeing. London Essence Zero Sugar Tonic Water is designed to meet the demand for low sugar options, ensuring there is zero missing out for health-conscious consumers. Delivering a clean and light flavour with bright citrus complexity, the tonic water aims to elevate every serve, whether it is paired with premium gin, vodka, or non-alcoholic spirits.

Beyond health considerations, consumers are looking for sophisticated and versatile mixers crafted with natural ingredients that allow them to recreate bar-quality experiences at home and experiment with new serves. Created for the 47% of consumers actively seeking flavour twists on traditional cocktails, the London Essence Riviera Tonic, is made with rosemary extract sourced from the Italian coast, and pairs effortlessly not only with premium gins, but vermouth and other aperitif style spirits. The new tonic invites experimentation and encourages consumers to craft sophisticated drinks at home that provide a taste of the Med in every sip.

Zero Sugar Tonic Water and Riviera Tonic Water will be available nationwide in major retailers, including Sainsbury’s, Waitrose, Ocado, and Amazon from 15 March and Morrisons from 26 April 2026, RRP £4.00 for 6 x 150ml.
