HigherinEarly careers expert Higherin have uncovered the top employers to work for in 2026/27. Designed to help young people find the right employer, ratings are awarded based on real employee reviews from actual jobs and placements.

Higherin has created two distinct ratings from internships and placements and graduate jobs with nearly 4,500 student reviews.

The tech company Arm took the top spot for the best graduate employer. Former students were impressed by the high salaries and compensation as well as the work-life balance and strong culture.

Emerging talent at ARM said: “Being named Higherin’s Top Graduate Employer for 2026/27 reflects what matters most, the experiences and feedback of our graduates. This recognition is especially meaningful because it comes directly from them.

“From day one, our graduates contribute to technology that touches 100% of the global connected population. This recognition reinforces our commitment to keep listening, evolving, and creating an environment where they can build impactful careers.”

One student said: “Arm is a great place to be if you want to take on exciting projects without compromising on your work-life balance.” Another said, “There’s a lovely work culture/office, great compensation and work life balance.”

Property company, Savills, took the top spot thanks to high ratings across the board, but particularly around training opportunities and skill development. 100% of reviewers rated Savills as a company they would recommend to a friend.

One student commented: “The company atmosphere was always positive and warm with everyone getting along or introducing themselves to me if they recognised a new face and the graduates especially really took me under their wing.”

Savills said: “We are thrilled to be named Higherin’s Top Undergraduate Employer for 26/27 and to have featured 4th in the Higherin Top Graduate Employers. The fact that these rankings are decided entirely by students and graduates themselves makes receiving this recognition incredibly rewarding.

“As a business, we are dedicated to creating the best internship and graduate experiences. We are delighted that our approach continues to resonate so positively with students and graduates and we will build on their feedback to enhance these opportunities for our future talent going forwards.”

What sets Higherin’s ratings apart is that they’re the only rankings based on real reviews from students and young people who have had the jobs. They’re based on first-hand experience across a huge range of areas, from the role to development opportunities to wages.

Oliver Sidwell, co-founder of Higherin, said: “We’ve created some of these rankings for the first time to help young job seekers. Everyone deserves the opportunity to make an informed decision about their career.”

Oliver continued: “The employers in our two lists have been user reviewed, something completely unique to Higherin that’s so important in 2026. It’s a difficult time for entry-level jobs with fewer job opportunities caused by the increase in AI and global economic hardships. Picking an employer that’s right is crucial.”

“Our rankings give young people a real opportunity to work for an employer that values them as an individual and rewards them for this.”
