ASK Italian reimagines ‘The Italian Way’ with its new spring and summer menu

ASK ItalianASK Italian has today announced the launch of its vibrant spring menu, inspired by ‘The Italian Way’ of dining. The new menu celebrates the art of the shared table and features a curated selection of seasonal, sharing dishes designed to be passed around the table and enjoyed together.

Following the recent launch of Pizza A Mano – freshly stone baked 14-inch hand-stretched pizzas, now bigger than ever so you get more pizza for your pennies – the new Spring menu introduces lighter, fresher mains and salads that have been curated to sit alongside Pizza A Mano.

The seasonal menu update invites guests to slow down and experience the joy of discovering multiple dishes and flavours together – think full plates and big flavours, created for moments made to be shared. New dishes include the Mediterranean Sea Bass, designed to be the crown jewel of the sharing table. Served with olives, capers, tomatoes, potatoes, and tender seasonal greens, the dish captures the essence of an Italian summer.

A Mozzarella Grain Salad has also been introduced, offering a nutritious mix of buckwheat and quinoa grains with fresh Italian mozzarella and roasted vegetables, alongside a brand-new Artichoke Grain Salad now available for those opting for a vegan option.

For diners with a sweet tooth, ASK Italian is also introducing a Chocostachio Bombe dessert, layered with rich chocolate and pistachio and accompanied by a hot melting chocolate sauce to bring some added theatre to the table.

Alongside the mains, the revamped spring drinks menu leans into the cultural zeitgeist with the all-new Hot Honey Margarita, a spicy-sweet sensation that perfectly balances a fiery kick with the cooling zest of a classic Italian spring. Alongside this is the Pepperoni Negroni which offers a bold, “snackified” twist on the Italian classic. Paired with a side of crispy, house-made Pepperoni Chips – a brand-new introduction to the Spring menu and available to order as picky bits for the table – to provide a salty, savoury crunch to compliment the depth of gin and vermouth.

For a zesty spring sip, the all-new Cherry Limoncello Meringue Cocktail and floral Hugo Spritz round out the new drinks menu, alongside ASK Italian’s seasonal Italian wines, beers and spirits.

New Summer Specials

From 2nd June, the table grows even more abundant with the arrival of the Truffle Honey Prosciutto Pizza A Mano, topped with prosciutto, creamy stracciatella and drizzled with an indulgent, homemade truffle honey. Two new summer mains also join the menu from June, including a melt-in-the-mouth Sticky Beef Short Rib dish and a Smoky Chilli Chicken Salad.

For the ultimate group dining experience, guests can add to the table with the Grande Fritto Misto, a towering celebration of the Italian coast, featuring a crisp, golden heap of tempura-style seafood and seasonal vegetables designed for the whole table to dive into. Alongside the new bite-sized, crowd-pleasing starter of Spicy Chicken Crocchettes.

Dessert lovers can also enjoy ASK Italian’s take on nostalgic Italian sweet treats with the introduction of a Lemon Meringue Pie Sundae and a White Chocolate Panna Cotta, served with balsamic strawberries and honeycomb. Completing the feasting experience is a brand-new Aperol Sangria, a vibrant, sunset-hued blend of Italy’s favourite aperitivo with fruity sangria.

Ask Italian fans will also be able to get three sides for just £12, making sharing around the table with friends and family easy and perfect for making the most of the new spring menu additions. For a limited time only, diners can also enjoy a free Spritz of their choice each time they dine this May, simply by downloading and signing up to the ASK Perks rewards app.

Jemma Townsend, marketing director at ASK Italian, said: “At its heart, Italian dining is a generous occasion, all about a fuller table for everyone to enjoy. Our new menu celebrates this ‘Italian way of dining’, inviting the joy of passing plates and discovering new flavours together. Whether you’re diving into a Pizza a Mano with the whole family or are curious enough to try a Pepperoni Negroni – yes, it’s a thing, and yes, it’s delicious – this menu is all about big, bold flavours that gets people talking.”

Deals and Rewards

Guests can also make the most of their visit by downloading and signing up to the ASK Perks Rewards App. With the ASK Perks Rewards App, ASK Italian fans can access their Anytime Perk for every visit. Plus, there’s app-only Perks available to use too, including getting a discount on set menus. When customers check-in and spend £15 or more, they’ll collect a lemon stamp. There are three levels to complete and the more you visit, the better the rewards.

Diners can also earn points on every pound spent, unlocking exclusive treats, birthday rewards, and personalised offers that make every feasting occasion go a little further. Visit the ASK Italian Perks Rewards App and offers web page for more information.

The spring menu is available in all ASK Italian restaurants now, with the Summer Seasonal Specials arriving from 2nd June. For more information, full allergen details, or to book a table, visit the website or download the ASK Perks Rewards App.
