Wingstop UKI, the restaurant that doesn’t play when it comes to flavour, is bringing back its fan-favourite Hot Honey after months of demand, and turning up the heat further with the launch of a brand-new addition: Hot Honey Sriracha. Landing for 90 days only, the two flavours bring together the perfect balance of sweet and spicy, from the sticky, warming kick of Hot Honey to the bolder Sriracha heat of Wingstop’s newest flavour.
This time, Hot Honey returns with a new and improved recipe: warm, golden honey with a slow-building chilli kick, sweet first, spicy on the finish. The newest addition of Hot Honey Sriracha takes things up a notch, layering that same honey sweetness with the sharp, garlicky heat of sriracha for those that favour their spice.
Since it first launched, Hot Honey has remained one of Wingstop’s most requested flavours on social media, with fans calling for its return across TikTok and Instagram for months. One Instagram follower summed up the mood best, commenting: “Stop being silly and bring it back.”
The comeback also taps into a much bigger shift in how Britain eats, as new Wingstop research reveals that 78% of Brits now actively seek out flavour combinations that bring sweetness and heat together, a figure that rises to 84% among Gen Z consumers.
Dirujan Sabesan, chief brand officer, Wingstop UKI, said: “Some of our best menu decisions start in the comments section. Hot Honey is one of the flavours fans have asked for most since it left, so it’s back and with an unexpected spicy twist. Hot Honey Sriracha is our answer to everyone who wanted the same sweetness with even more flavour.”
Hot Honey and Hot Honey Sriracha are available now from £8.50 for 8 piece wings or boneless at Wingstop restaurants across the UK and Ireland and on Deliveroo from the 30th September for 90 days only. Get them before they’re gone.
