Dassault Systèmes (Euronext Paris: FR0014003TT8, DSY.PA) today announced that Paula Rosa Manhattan, a leading kitchen specialist in the U.K. and part of Ballingslöv International AB, will use its HomeByMe solution to launch a new offering to deliver high-quality kitchens directly to customers for the first time. By integrating the HomeByMe Smart Kitchen Planner solution into its website, Paula Rosa Manhattan – traditionally known as a manufacturer – is testing a new way to connect with end consumers, allowing them to design and purchase their dream kitchens online.

HomeByMe Smart Kitchen Planner offers an intuitive and seamless design experience, enabling customers to manage their kitchen projects from anywhere, at any time, using a browser. It also supports an omnichannel approach that ensures a consistent and engaging customer experience across all touchpoints. Paula Rosa Manhattan can streamline its operations and scale efficiently as online sales grow, leveraging its manufacturing expertise to deliver high-quality kitchens directly to customers. With a factory already equipped to handle increased production, the company is well-positioned to capitalise on the shift toward e-commerce.

“Adopting Dassault Systèmes’ HomeByMe Smart Kitchen Planner is a transformative step for our business as we embrace e-commerce to meet the evolving expectations of today’s consumers,” said Richard Lee, CEO, Paula Rosa Manhattan. “As manufacturers, we’ve always been focused on quality and craftsmanship. Now, we’re taking our expertise directly to customers by offering them a fully digital experience that they control. HomeByMe will support this natural step for us, with a simple, guided design experience for our customers.”

The strategic decision to adopt HomeByMe marks a significant shift for Paula Rosa Manhattan into the DTC market, when 42% of 20- to 39-year-olds have expressed interest in using configurators for their kitchen purchases. It also underscores the growing importance of digital solutions in the kitchen industry, where consumer behaviour is increasingly moving toward online engagement and e-commerce:  80% of consumers start their buying journey on a smartphone or tablet.

“Paula Rosa Manhattan’s decision to integrate HomeByMe Smart Kitchen Planner as a back-bone of their new business strategy demonstrates its whish to explore new ways to engage with consumers,” said Annabel Chaussat, CEO, 3DVIA, Dassault Systèmes. “Digital transformation of the buying journey is becoming essential to enhance consumer experiences and drive growth in the kitchen sector. Paula Rosa Manhattan is adapting to changing markets in the U.K. kitchen sector, bringing a new kitchen design and selling experience.”
