Macsa ID UKLeading coding and marking equipment specialist, Macsa ID UK (https://www.macsatextile.com/) has launched the Lasertex Retail, a safe, sustainable and stylish looking laser marking system which has been specially developed to allow brands and retailers to transform products as part of a promotional campaign or into a unique personalised item for customers in real time on the shop floor.

The plug & play Lasertex Retail, which boasts a built-in smoke exhaust, features a portable design, allowing it to be easily moved around in store. The flexible unit is capable of marking a range of items and substrates including denim, knitwear, leather, shoes, hats and wood. It can reproduce complex designs, logos and high resolution images, adding revenue whilst creating a memorable shopping experience for the customer.

Macsa’s Lasertex system offers low power consumption, can fit into retail spaces without disrupting displays and fulfils the requirements of the most demanding customisation project. The cutting-edge technology provides a proven, robust and durable solution for years of trouble-free operation.

There is no need for expensive consumables and only minimal maintenance is required. The Lasertex Retail is not only environmentally friendly, but is also kind to those team members responsible for the personalization process by eliminating the chemicals used in other methods.

The high levels of precision, accuracy and reproducibility provided by the Lasertex Retail system makes interpreting customer needs and customizing products possible in the blink of an eye.

The unit offers a working area of 250mm x 250mm, a positioning system with red pointer and 100% repeatability and positioning accuracy.

Lasertex Retail works with Macsa’s powerful MARCA® software, a fully integrated tool that allows retailers to apply a range of effects, filters and specific tools to any kind of product. It is operated via a user interface comprising LCD flat PC panel integrated and 3-D moveable arm.

Since 1908, Macsa ID has been investing in cutting-edge and value-adding technological developments for the textile industry. Laser technology avoids the need for sand blasting, PP spraying systems or manual hand-sanding while significantly increasing production capacity.

Today, the company offers a range of high end Lasertex laser systems designed to provide finishing process solutions for the apparel manufacturing market with the aim of creating the latest looks: used, aged, vintage, improved and premium.
