Today, Avon, the iconic global beauty company, announced that its award-winning products – including make-up, skincare and fragrance – will now be available to purchase in 100 Superdrug retail stores* up and down the country from 11th October, with additional items also available on Superdrug.com from 9th October 2023. This is a partnership of two of the country’s biggest beauty brands and is the latest step in Avon’s plans to introduce additional shopping options to complement its core, high-touch relationship selling model.

From serums to foundations, lip oils to moisturisers, over 150 of Avon’s products will be available in store at Superdrug. The launch lineup will include cult products such as Anew Renewal Power Serum with Protinol™, Hydramatic Matte Lipstick – the world’s first matte lipstick with a revolutionary hyaluronic core – and Avon’s much-loved Skin So Soft Dry Oil Spray.

The partnership is the latest development in Avon’s ongoing transformation into a truly omnichannel beauty company as the business continues to embrace a wider customer base who wish to enjoy aspirational beauty products at irresistible value. Like Avon, Superdrug stands for offering high quality beauty at exceptional value and this shared belief makes the two perfect partners; something that’s even more important for consumers with the higher cost of living.

Angela Cretu, CEO at Avon said, “We’re thrilled to connect with new customers across the UK by introducing Avon products into Superdrug stores. We understand that people like to shop in different ways, whether it’s a personal consultation with one of our amazing Reps who provide tailored beauty advice, via our online channels, or now in Superdrug stores.  We’ll now be able to reach even more people who want high-quality, innovative and, most importantly, affordable beauty products.”

Simon Comins Chief Commercial Officer at Superdrug said, “Avon is such a beloved and widely recognisable brand, and we couldn’t be more excited to be exclusively launching the cult-favourite products to our savvy shoppers. With 137 years of history in the beauty industry, we’re proud to be Avon’s first and only retail partner in the UK and continue to offer high-quality brands with exceptional value to our customers.”

As well as being available in 100 Superdrug stores nationwide, you can shop Avon products online via the Superdrug website and via Superdrug Click and Collect.

Celebrating 137 years of progress and achievement

Over its 137-year history, Avon has many proud and impressive achievements, including:

  • Avon Worldwide sells one lipstick every second (Based on units sold between 1st January and 31st December 2022)
  • Avon is the world’s number one fragrance brand (As measured by volume or units sold in 2021)
  • Together with our customers and Reps, Avon has donated US$1.1 billion to good causes all over the world
  • All over the world, Avon has educated 180 million women about breast cancer, and helped 15 million women and girls facing abuse
  • 80% of Avon’s packaging is already reusable, recyclable or compostable (and we’re aiming to get to 100% by 2030)
