With 49% of people cutting spending on eating out due to the rising costs of living, Charlie Bigham’s has launched five new dishes, taking inspiration from global cuisines from Thailand and India to France and Italy, alongside a traditional British dish to build on the existing home-comfort classics as Autumn sets in.
The range extension is further to the launch of Charlie Bigham’s first ever sides range earlier this year in May, and includes a new side dish to pair with Charlie Bigham’s famous curries.
All five dishes hit stores this week and include:
Charlie Bigham’s Thai Panang Chicken Curry & Fragrant Rice – A rich, nutty and sweet coconut-based curry, with soft chicken and aromatic rice.
Charlie Bigham’s Breton Chicken with Cheddar Mashed Potato – A classic French recipe with a rich, creamy sauce and cheesy mashed potatoes.
Charlie Bigham’s Chicken Cacciatore & Roasted Potatoes – Juicy chicken in a herby tomato sauce, served with roasted potatoes.
Charlie Bigham’s Steak & Red Wine Casserole with Mashed Potato – A traditional British casserole with tender beef in a red wine sauce with creamy potatoes.
NEW SIDE: Charlie Bigham’s Aloo Gobi* – A generously spiced potato & cauliflower dish, the perfect side dish for an Indian curry or to be enjoyed on its own.
Company founder Charlie Bigham, says:‘’There’s nothing I enjoy more than creating new dishes inspired by cuisines from around the world on my previous travels.
Our new Chicken Cacciatore is full of rustic Italian charm, perfect with a crisp white, taking you to the sun-soaked vineyards of Italy.
Or why not change up your curry on a Friday night with our Thai Panang Curry – a fragrant curry full of fresh citrus flavours.
There’s something for everyone with these new dishes, whether you’re looking for flavours from further afield or favour European-inspired dishes’.
The new dishes bring Charlie Bigham’s portfolio to 60+ products which includes mains, sides and desserts, inspired by both traditional British meals and dishes from around the world.
All of Charlie Bigham’s freshly-prepared meals are made with the highest quality ingredients… just like you would at home (along with Charlie’s secret ingredient – obsession).
Each of the dishes are prepared in the Charlie Bigham’s kitchens, so all you’ll need to do is preheat the oven, pop the meals in and put your feet up as Charlie has dinner sorted for tonight.
*The Aloo Gobi will be replacing the Tarka Dhal in the sides range.
