Discount retailer Poundland has announced it has completed the transition to new clothing ranges powered by parent company Pepco Group, bringing its family fashion offer to 560 stores across the UK and Ireland, including all 56 former Wilko locations that have now re-opened.
Not only can UK Poundland and Irish Dealz customers take advantage of new ranges from lifestyle and athleisure brands such as Cardio Bunny and Bekkin, Poundland has also reconfigured its stores to offer more baby and kids clothing than ever before.
Over the last eight weeks, every store that features clothing has now completed a significant move to double the amount of space dedicated to baby and increase kidswear by 50 per cent.
For the first time those ranges also include Pepco’s kidswear brand Kukukid.
And that range expansion in kidswear allows Poundland and Dealz to take advantage of Pepco’s major licensing partnerships – the new Pepco ranges feature new licensed products including Harry Potter, Gremlins, Tom & Jerry and the Moomins, alongside its popular Disney, Warner & Star Wars ranges.
The move to clothing powered by Pepco has enabled Poundland to double down on the promise of amazing value it makes to its customers.
Recent internal Poundland pricing surveys show Poundland’s new ranges are significantly better value than key competitors Primark, George at Asda and F&F at Tesco.
On average, the move to a range powered by Pepco has enabled Poundland to reduce average selling prices by 10 per cent per cent as it takes advantage of the scale of Pepco Group’s buying power for its 4,600-plus stores across Europe.
Pepco ranges continue to be sourced, like the PEP&CO clothing before it, by the Pepco Group sourcing team PGS.
Current hero lines across Poundland and Dealz clothing ranges include:
- Kids outerwear from just £9
- Kids’ leggings, long-sleeve t-shirts all start at £2 with licensed sweatshirts from £4
- 2-pack socks for babies are £1.50 with tops and trousers from £2
- Women’s faux fur coats from £16 and men’s and women’s parkas from £20

- Both men’s and women’s t-shirts are £2.50 with joggers at £7
- For Christmas, kids’ jumpers start at £6 and adults’ at £10 with family PJs for kids from £6 and adults £10
Customers will now see ranges change much more frequently now clothing is powered by Pepco with new products arriving each and every week.
These wider and deeper clothing ranges re already being brought to the 75-plus new stores Poundland will open over the current quarter to December – including all former Wilko stores that have been re-opened as a new Poundland.
Poundland commercial director Tim Bettley said: “As we’ve transitioned to these new ranges over the past three months, it’s been clear our customers have appreciated the lower prices and new ranges – especially in baby and kidswear.
“By taking advantage of the scale of our parent company, we’re able to double-down on the promise we make to deliver the amazing value we’re famous for.”
Over the past five years, Poundland has grown to be a significant player in the clothing market as it has undertaken a range revolution in its stores. Other new categories alongside clothing include homewares, and chilled and frozen food giving customers an alternative to supermarkets.
