Plant-based drinks company champions British farming by partnering with Red Tractor

Framptons - ProductsFramptons, the UK’s leading independent plant-based drinks company, is celebrating British farming by proudly announcing its partnership with Red Tractor.

The partnership means Framptons has been licensed to sell plant-based beverages bearing the Red Tractor logo, meaning the oats in their oat drinks range are British, responsibly sourced and fully traceable.

The Red Tractor licence also guarantees whole supply chain assurance for Framptons, putting them in a community of licensees, from entrepreneurial business to iconic household brands, which represent the very best of UK food and drink production.

The move follows Framptons’ work with independent grain provider Robin Appel, where in 2022, the two joined forces to create new company Plant Food Bases and began producing liquid bases for oat milk.

Research shows one in four UK consumers, over the next 10 years, are forecast to become oat drinkers, showing a significant trend in consumer preference towards the dairy alternative. Growing consumer demand for plant-based beverages highlights the potential market opportunities for products like those offered by Framptons, whilst supporting local UK farmers.

Framptons takes pride in sourcing its oats from Wessex, an area known for its rich agricultural heritage, and supporting local farming whilst also ensuring the traceability of the ingredients used in its oat drinks, blends and creams.

Andrew Rimell, managing director at Framptons, said: “We are immensely proud to be a Red Tractor Licensee. The Red Tractor logo is a beacon for consumer confidence, reassuring people that the food and drink they buy is British, safe and fully traceable.

“Being Red Tractor licensed shows our commitment to supporting British farming, as well as our promise to deliver products that are not only delicious but responsibly sourced.”

Framptons invites industry professionals to their stand at the upcoming IFE event, held at ExCeL London from 25th to 27th March, to taste the exceptional quality of their oat drinks firsthand. Attendees will also have the opportunity to visit stand 1159 to learn more about the future of plant-based beverages.
