Leading UK retailer, CDS Superstores, owners of The Range and wilko, has today announced a partnership with VMXdN Foxhill & Farleigh Castle Vets MX – the most widely celebrated and popular motocross events in the country.

VMXdN Foxhill and Farleigh Castle MX are prestigious motocross festivals that attract top riders and fans from around the world. Celebrated for their thrilling races and atmosphere, they embody the pinnacle of competition, applauding passion and skill of riders across generations.

More than simply a brand sponsorship, CDS Superstores is bringing delivering a creative retail activation to the events programme.

Motocross fans will be able to browse an extensive range of MX event ready products online and then choose to either; have them delivered to their home before the event, to pick them up from The Range Swindon (the closest store) the day before the event or, (a UK festival first), collect from ‘The Range Click and Collect truck’ which will be on-site at the event.

A wide range of products will be available to purchase from camping chairs, tables, air beds, pop up tents, BBQs, picnic items and much more!

That’s not all, as the brands are also this year’s title sponsor of the ‘Show N Shine’ feature at VMXdN Foxhill. This enhanced addition for 2024 gives attendees of the event the opportunity to get their hands on special prizes and attend special events across 22-26th August adding an extra layer of engagement to the whole experience.

Founder and chairman of CDS Superstores, Chris Dawson, is not only a seasoned Mx-rider but also a lifelong devotee of motocross and his deep-rooted passion for the sport has fuelled the partnership.

CEO of CDS, Alex Simpkin, said: “This feels like a perfect synergy for both brands. With Chris’ understanding and passion of motocross and The Range and wilko’s commitment to customer experiences, it promises to elevate the community to new heights. We look forward to bringing the excitement and our wide range of products to fans in August!”

Promoters Dave King and Rob “DocWob”, said: “To say we’re excited about this partnership is an understatement. Chris Dawson is a lifelong motocross fan, and he hasn’t missed one of our meetings, so seeing him get onboard and elevate this promotion to the next level has been amazing! We can’t wait for the festival to begin this August and see our fans and riders come back and visit the most iconic GP motocross circuit in the UK.”

The Range is recognised for providing quality products at affordable prices, catering to customer needs across home, leisure, and garden categories. With over 212 stores nationwide, The Range is the go-to destination for family and individuals alike seeking value and assortment in their shopping experience.

Late last year CDS Superstores acquired the brand of the much loved, value retailer wilko and is now rapidly opening wilko stores (now five with many more planned), as well as expanding the on-line platform wilko.com, which sells a huge amount of original and popular products across gardening, pets, DIY, paint, and much more.
