Morrisons Just in time for Christmas, Morrisons is launching a freshly baked limited-edition Gingerbread Filled Doughnut, giving customers another reason to get into the festive spirit and visit the Market Street bakery.

Combining a spiced gingerbread dough with a smooth, creamy ginger custard filling, the mouthwatering treat offers a delicious twist on a classic seasonal flavour. A staple of the Christmas season, gingerbread is loved for its warming spices and comforting flavour, making it the perfect inspiration for Morrisons limited-edition doughnuts.

Made from scratch daily by Morrisons expert bakers, the supermarket’s doughnuts are a favourite amongst customers. In fact, last year, customers consumed over 59 million doughnuts from Morrisons bakeries, amounting to over four million kilograms of doughnuts – the same weight as 250 cars.

Jack Nicholls, Bakery & Cakes Operations Development Manager at Morrisons said: “We couldn’t resist putting a seasonal twist on one of our much loved bakery favourites, to spread a little Christmas magic across Market Street this year and give our customers a festive treat to look forward to.”

Each five-pack is ideal for sharing with family and friends, best enjoyed alongside an afternoon cup of tea, or adding a fun twist to a festive dessert spread.

Customers can pick up a five-pack of Gingerbread Filled Doughnuts from Morrisons Market Street bakeries nationwide and online from November 2nd until December 28th, for just £1.
