PLAYin CHOC is making its nationwide debut in Tesco

PLAYin CHOCMulti-award-winning, B Corp certified chocolate brand, PLAYin CHOC, today announces its nationwide launch into selected Tesco stores and online, bringing its unique ToyChoc Boxes to around 300 stores across the UK.

From October, Tesco customers will be able to find PLAYin CHOC’s festive-themed Christmas ToyChoc Boxes in selected Tesco stores in the Seasonal and Free From aisles, plus on-line at Tesco.com, ahead of the festive rush.

Already loved by kids worldwide, each Christmas ToyChoc Box includes two of PLAYin CHOC’s signature organic, allergen-free chocolates, a 3D card puzzle toy to assemble, play with and collect as well as an educational fun facts card. Collect all 6 surprise Christmas characters:  Reindeer, Snowman, Elf, Gingerbread man, Christmas Tree and of course Santa!

The deliciously smooth and creamy chocolate is made from just three organic plants – a combination of gently roasted cacao, which is grown on small family-owned farm collectives in Peru using the finest criollo beans (certified slave free, child labour free and animal labour free), Madagascan Bourbon vanilla and vitamin rich Sri Lankan and Indonesian coconut. These ingredients are not only free from the 14 main allergens but means the chocolate contains a third less sugar than leading brands, and lower GI load, making it a better for you treat.

The listing marks a significant milestone in PLAYin CHOC’s mission to make sustainable, ethical and allergen-free chocolate more widely available. As a company dedicated to sustainability, PLAYin CHOC uses 100% recyclable, zero-waste and plastic-free packaging, ensuring that every product is both environmentally friendly and fun.

Dominic Simler, managing director of PLAYin CHOC, says: “This is our first major UK supermarket listing, and we are delighted to be working with Tesco at such a key time of the year with our Christmas range of ToyChoc Boxes. For us it’s always been about offering parents and children a by far healthier and sustainable chocolate treat, with a fun toy to build, enjoy and learn from – and the listing with Tesco enables us to reach more families across the UK. We look forward to bringing a little more joy to the Free From aisle and beyond.”

Customers will also be able to purchase PLAYin CHOC ToyChoc Boxes online for home delivery through the Tesco website.

PLAYin CHOC launched to market in 2018 and has since won multiple awards for its organic, vegan chocolate and innovative and sustainable designs. The brand is committed to being slave free, plastic-fee and ethically produced with the highest quality ingredients.

Each chocolate piece is individually wrapped for freshness, portion control, hygiene and portability. Wrappings are made of plastic-free home compostable plant cellulose which is also marine biodegradable to ensure that nothing ends up in landfill or polluting the oceans.

The PLAYin CHOC ToyChoc Boxes will be available in-store and online from October 14 in participating stores.
