Stripe & StareFemale-founded, UK-based wallpaper and fabric studio Barneby Gates launches a limited-edition pyjama collection with Stripe & Stare on 2nd March.

Featuring Barneby Gates idiosyncratically English designs on Stripe & Stare’s luxuriously soft, sustainable fabrics, this collection of pyjama’s effortlessly blends classical design with super soft comfort.

The collection is the first collaboration between the two brands and is the first ever sleepwear from Barneby Gates. The capsule showcases the brand’s classical hand-drawn pinstripes on a range of pyjamas in a soft blue and pink palette, perfect for Spring.

Launching just in time for International Women’s Day, both brands are female-founded with a high focus on quality, sustainability and personal style.

Each piece is crafted from Stripe & Stare’s ultra-soft fabric, sustainably sourced from Beechwood Trees. Using groundbreaking fabric technology this range uses a more eco-friendly Ecovero alternative to brushed cotton with the same super soft feel.  The materials use 95% less water than cotton during production. Making it as kind to the planet as it is luxurious to wear.

Stripe & StareKatie Lopes, co-founder and creative director of S&S, said: “I am so excited to have worked with Alice and Vanessa on this collection.  I am a long term fan of the unique, beautiful wall papers they create. By using their designs on our super soft PJs, we have created something classic and timeless.  I will be wearing these not only to bed and around the house but also out and about this Spring.”

Vanessa Barneby & Alice Gates, Co-founders of Barneby Gates, said: “As die-hard followers of Stripe & Stare, we couldn’t be more delighted to collaborate with Katie and her team on this beautiful collection. With our shared brand values working with S&S has felt symbiotic from the outset, and seeing one of our favourite wallpaper designs translated onto their deliciously soft PJs has been such a fun process. We can’t wait to wear them – in and out of the house!”

Product available via stripeandstare.com. Sizes ranging from XS to 4X (UK 6-22). RRP for pyjama bottoms is £55, pyjama shorts is £45 and pyjama top is £65.
