Superdrug Mobile slashes sim-only costs while competitors raise prices

Every April, most mobile network providers increase their prices to factor in inflation and the consumer price index. However,  Superdrug Mobile is not only bucking the trend by not increasing  pricing since 2018, but is now offering a market-leading deal and lowering its prices meaning customers can get 30GB of data for £7 per month or unlimited data for £16 per month.

In addition to being a budget-friendly mobile network provider, Superdrug Mobile has exclusive benefits, making its offering completely unique to other competitors. This includes Health and Beautycard points when signing up, double Health & Beautycard points on all Superdrug purchases and auto enrollment into the Superdrug VIP rewards scheme which gives customers exclusive deals and discounts every month.

Across both plans, customers can take advantage of unlimited UK calls and texts, WiFi calling, the fastest 5G, 12GB EU roaming, no exit fees, no minimum contract, and any unused data on the 30GB plan can be rolled over.

Superdrug Mobile Senior Business Manager Vikki Nye comments, “At Superdrug Mobile, we love giving back to our customers, who we know are feeling the pinch, by creating more affordable sim-only packages that provide flexibility and perks that can’t be found anywhere else.

While Ofcom has banned mid-contract price increases based on inflation, networks can still include price increases within their contracts, providing this is clearly detailed when customers sign up online or in-store. We know people now more than ever need to plan their budgets and cut costs where possible, which is why we’re cutting costs on our sim-only packages. Not only that, but customers benefit from the exclusive Health and Beautycard points and offers, saving customers even more money. “

Until 20th May, customers will be able to purchase the deal from Superdrug Mobile using the code ‘E42025’ for the £7 deal or ‘E41025’ for the £16 deal at: https://www.superdrugmobile.com/register/

When activating the sim, customers will enjoy either 30GB or Unlimited data, at new money-saving price points, for 12 months.
