The new GO Outdoors store has officially opened at Huddersfield’s Leeds Road Retail Park, with a grand opening event planned for April 12th.
England football legend and Yorkshire native David Seaman will officially open the store at 9 AM, joined by Huddersfield Town FC mascot Tilly the Terrier. The store is located on the site where the goalmouth of Huddersfield Town’s Leeds Road Stadium once stood. Seaman also played at the stadium during its final season, visiting with Arsenal in September 1993.
The new store has ample free customer parking and will stock a wide range of unbeatable brands, such as Rab, OEX, The North Face and Berghaus, as well as trusted brands like Regatta, Craghoppers, YETI and North Ridge.
The 31,000sq ft store also offers services such as boot and rucksack fitting.
Paul Gavin, store manager, comments: “We’re looking forward to offering more customers our unbeatable range of outdoor clothing, footwear, and equipment while also supporting local communities by creating new job opportunities in Huddersfield.
“With the best outdoor brands available, we are confident this new store will offer a rewarding shopping experience for outdoor enthusiasts in Huddersfield. The new GO Outdoors store will also allow local shoppers to benefit from our GO Outdoors loyalty programme, which provides lower prices for members.”
