The Mayor of Bedford, Tom Wootton, was in attendance to cut the ribbon and store manager Ian Gray greeted the first 200 groups through the doors with a free goody bag. The celebrations continued throughout the day, with family entertainment, including a DJ and balloon modeller.
The newly refurbished store has ample free customer parking and stocksa wide range of unbeatable brands, such as Rab, OEX and Berghaus, as well as trusted brands like Peter Storm, Hi-Gear and Brasher. There are also Leisure Lakes, Naylors, and Fishing Republic concessions within the store where you can browse and shop.
The 42,000sq ft store offers services such as boot and rucksack fitting, as well as collection and drop-off points for parcels from online orders, Evri, UPS and DPD. There is alsoan In-Post facility where customers can collect parcels throughout the day.
