Black Sheep Coffee secures landmark 31-Site deal across Essex, Leicestershire and Buckinghamshire

Black Sheep Coffee Black Sheep Coffee has completed a major new territory agreement covering a minimum of 31 stores across Essex, Leicestershire and Buckinghamshire.

The sites have been secured under a franchise takeover deal, with a prominent competitor franchisee set to switch over to Black Sheep Coffee. The move marks a bold transition and one of the brand’s most significant expansions to date.

Spanning a mix of commuter hotspots, vibrant market towns and fast-growing regional centres, the new territory offers strong growth potential for the brand, from Lakeside Shopping Centre, Leicester, to Milton Keynes.

The momentum cements Black Sheep Coffee’s position as one of the UK’s fastest-growing independent coffee brands, backed by a franchising model built to scale fast, while staying true to its disruptive spirit and focus on community-led growth.

“We’re thrilled to bring Black Sheep Coffee’s signature flavours and rebellious Robusta blend to Buckinghamshire, Essex and Leicestershire” said Black Sheep Coffee co-founder Eirik Holth. “These new stores will be places for everyone to enjoy our speciality Robusta blend, signature Norwegian Waffles, 100% ceremonial grade Matcha & much more. We can’t wait to welcome the local community, see you there!”

Renowned for unapologetically bold flavours and an unrivalled commitment to quality, Black Sheep Coffee are innovators in the space – by sourcing the first speciality-grade 100% Robusta coffee, they went against the market trends and became the ‘Black Sheep’ of the coffee world. The coffee shop group recently launched a brand-new lemonade category, with both classic and matcha-spiked options in flavour-packed combos like Lychee, Lavender, Passionfruit, and Peach. But this isn’t just refreshment – it’s functional, too. Every drink can be levelled up with one of Black Sheep Coffee’s signature boosters: think prebiotic fibre for gut health, collagen for that glow-up, brain-boosting nootropics, or a hit of CBD to help keep stress at bay. It’s hydration, upgraded.

Get ready to leave the herd behind at Black Sheep Coffee.
