New Korean-inspired noodle brand launches mationwide

Korean-inspired noodle brandA new, customisable, Korean-inspired noodle brand has launched nationwide in response to the huge popularity of and demand for Asian cuisine in the UK.  The full Namdong range, which includes three flavours, Beef Jjigae, Chicken Jjigae and Kimchi Jjigae, is available now in Morrisons and ASDA stores nationwide.

Namdong, which starts at £1.60 per pot, allows spice lovers to dial it up or tone it down with customisable heat levels via an individual spice sachet meaning that it can be tailored to every taste without compromising on flavour.

With a recipe crafted in collaboration with chefs specialising in Korean cuisine, the noodles come in three flavours:

  • Beef Jjigae: combining flavours of slow-cooked beef, vegetables and spices.
  • Chicken Jjigae: exceptionally juicy, with intensely rich roasted chicken tones and complemented by a touch of seaweed.
  • Kimchi Jjigae:  a vegan variant delivering a fresh aroma reminiscent of kimchi fermentation.

In celebration of the launch, Namdong hosted a London launch party last week and invited consumers to be one of the first to taste the product with a K-Pop-themed event.
