The Body Shop to optimise supply chain operations with RELEX

The Body Shop, a globally recognised cosmetics, skincare, and personal care brand, has selected RELEX Solutions, provider of unified supply chain and retail planning solutions, to transition from manual and labour-intensive processes to a unified, AI-driven platform. The Body Shop will implement forecasting and replenishment to optimise inventory management and improve operational efficiency across its global stores, franchises, and distribution centres.

The Body Shop was founded in 1976 in Brighton, England, by Dame Anita Roddick. They are a trusted pioneer in ethical wellbeing, offering high-quality, innovation-driven skincare, body care, hair and make-up products made with naturally inspired and Community Fair Trade ingredients from around the world, operating in over 80 markets internationally and close to 2,000 retail stores.

Previously, The Body Shop was unable to continuously deliver outputs at the required pace, using legacy ERP systems and manual processes. As part of their renewal strategy, they are focused on building a leaner, more resilient supply chain to support strategic growth, particularly through their expanding franchise network. RELEX has been chosen due to its proven track record of supporting health and beauty brands, aligned sustainability values, and the ability to scale as needed.
