Costa CoffeeCosta Coffee is welcoming in the new year with a menu designed to embrace fresh rituals, comforting flavours, and a moment to reset. Launching this Thursday (8th January 2025), The Nation’s Favourite Coffee Shop* is introducing a selection of new drinks and returning favourites, perfect for starting the new year on a delicious note.

Your matcha moment, made easy
Matcha lovers can rejoice as Costa Coffee launches its brand-new Matcha Latte range in all 2,800+ stores nationwide – making matcha a feel-good everyday choice, wherever you are. From Ayrshire to Abergavenny, whether you’re already a matcha lover or trying it for the first time, there’s a matcha moment waiting for you in store.

The handcrafted trio includes a Hot Matcha Latte and an Iced Matcha Latte, both fully customisable with your choice of milk alternatives and syrups – from smooth vanilla to sweet caramel. For a refreshing twist, the Strawberry Coconut Iced Matcha Latte blends creamy coconut with sweet strawberry sauce for a vibrant, uplifting sip.

Sip on new flavours and returning favourites
Start the year on a sweet note with Costa Coffee’s new Spanish Caramelo Latte, a velvety, caramel twist on the much-loved Spanish Latte. The Spanish Latte also returns by popular demand, combining Costa Coffee’s Mocha Italia Signature taste with creamy comfort in every cup. Both drinks can also be made iced for a refreshing option.

Costa Coffee has also launched new Instant Barista Creations Iced Latte sachets, so customers can enjoy their favourite Costa Coffee classics with a refreshing iced twist at home. The limited-edition range includes a classic Iced Latte and an Iced Hazelnut Crème, blending rich coffee with a creamy, nutty hazelnut flavour. Made with Costa Coffee’s premium instant coffee and finely ground beans, the sachets will be available in Tesco stores from Monday 19th January 2026, and in Iceland stores from February, for a limited time.

On the go this January? Costa Express machines across the UK & Ireland are serving up hot and iced** favourites, including the limited-edition Pistachio Latte and Iced Latte, made with pistachio-flavoured syrup to add a nutty touch of luxury to your daily coffee moment.

Fresh flavours for winter days
January’s food menu introduces bold tastes and vibrant vegan options, ideal for lunch or a quick pick-me-up. For something warming and plant-based, try the new Onion Bhaji Wrap, packed with spice and flavour to brighten the cold days. Or settle in with the new Tomato & Basil Soup, a cosy companion that also counts as one of your five a day.

Morning cravings are covered too, with the new Tomato & Mature Cheddar Croissant – rich, buttery, and full of flavour, or the All-Day Breakfast Toastie, delivering a comforting classic at any time of day.

Brighten January with something sweet
Add a little sweetness to your day with the fan-favourite Banana & Chocolate Muffin, filled with a rich, decadent chocolate sauce. Alternately enjoy a slice of Orange & Raspberry Victoria Sponge or a Berry Crumble Slice, each crafted to elevate that afternoon coffee break.

For sharing moments of joy, Costa Coffee’s Iced Gingerbread Biscuits feature heart-warming messages like “Love” and “Hug Me.” Costa Coffee is also introducing two new healthy snacks; the Fruit & Nut Mix, a delicious source of fibre that’s ideal for an energising on-the-go bite, and the new Dried Mango, which offers a naturally sweet snack that also counts as one of your five a day.

Deals throughout the day
Customers can enjoy great value deals*** from morning to afternoon with Costa Coffee’s bundle deals. Start the day with a buttery croissant or a slice of toast, paired with a handcrafted coffee from just £4.99 or upgrade to a hearty bap from £6.49. An Innocent drink can also be added for £1.

At lunchtime, enjoy a toastie and coffee combo for £6.49 with the option to now add a pack of selected crisps for only £1. And from 2–5pm, enjoy a sweet afternoon treat with a cake and a coffee from £5.49

Nishant Bhatia, global food and beverage innovation director at Costa Coffee, said: “January is about finding small moments of comfort and enjoyment, and that was front of mind when creating this menu – especially our new Matcha range. Costa Coffee’s matcha is designed to be a feel-good ritual, whether you’re discovering matcha for the first time or already love its smooth flavour. Alongside it, we’ve added treats to brighten your day, from the sweetness of our Spanish Caramelo Latte to something warm and satisfying like the new Onion Bhaji Wrap – every visit is a little moment of happiness.”

The new January menu launches on Thursday 8th January 2026 in Costa Coffee stores across the UK and Ireland. Find your nearest store or Costa Express machine visit: https://www.costa.co.uk/locations/store-locator/map
