Wendy’s launches value meal, priced lower than supermarket meal deals

Wendy’s January can be tough on wallets, with 32% of UK adults expecting to run out of money by mid-month. Right on time, one of the UK’s fastest-growing fast food giants is here to help.

Brits across the nation can now enjoy a full, hearty meal without stretching their budgets or compromising on taste, with the new chicken Biggie Bag® meal available from Wendy’s®.

Costing just £5, this new meal combo is cheaper than many UK supermarket meal deals and includes a Jr. Crispy Chicken Sandwich; four golden crispy nuggets; small fries and a small soft drink.

The £5 chicken Biggie Bag® is the perfect lunch or dinner option and joins Wendy’s already-existing £5 beef Biggie Bag® meal family. The only time “going biggie” means saving more.

And with more young adults starting to tackle new year fitness goals in December 2025, January looks less like a month for hard resets and robust regimes, and more like welcoming guilt-free cheat days.

“The Biggie Bag® has always been about giving customers great value without compromising on flavour,” said Michael Clarke, Managing Director, Europe for The Wendy’s Company. “This January, which is more about slow resets, we’re making it even easier for Brits to enjoy a satisfying meal while keeping wallets happy.”

The chicken Biggie Bag® meal is available at all Wendy’s restaurants across the UK – from London and Liverpool, to Reading and Brighton – where fast-food favourites are served, combining quality ingredients with exceptional hospitality.
