Søstrene Grene brings Scandinavian design to Lincoln High Street

Danish lifestyle brand Søstrene Grene is coming to Lincoln High Street, marking the next step in its UK expansion. Known for its Scandinavian-inspired design, stylish homewares and signature sense of hygge, the store will bring a calm, carefully curated shopping experience to the city defined by its medieval streets and cathedral.

The Lincoln opening marks Søstrene Grene’s first store in Lincolnshire, reflecting growing demand for the brand’s design-led homewares and creative products. Local shoppers will now have the opportunity to experience Søstrene Grene’s distinctive approach to everyday living closer to home.

Located in the heart of Lincoln, the new store has been designed as more than just a place to shop. Soft lighting, classical music and Søstrene Grene’s signature labyrinth-style layout create a calm, sensory environment. The space encourages a slower pace, reflecting the Danish tradition of ‘hygge’ and offering a moment of creativity and escape within the city.

Mikkel Grene, CEO and Co-owner of Søstrene Grene, comments: “Retail often moves quickly, but our stores are designed to do the opposite. We think there is real value in slowing down, engaging the senses and taking time to explore well-made, thoughtful products. We’re excited to bring that experience to Lincoln and invite locals and visitors to immerse themselves in the wonderful world of Søstrene Grene.”

With more than 380 stores across 17 countries, Søstrene Grene is continuing its UK expansion, with 100 new openings planned by the end of 2027 to bring its affordable Scandinavian design to even more communities.

Country manager for the North of England, Jonathan Cooper, is also looking forward to the opening of Søstrene Grene’s new Lincoln store.

Jonathan Cooper comments: “The most encouraging part of our growth has been seeing how people respond when they experience a Søstrene Grene store in person. Lincoln gives us the chance to introduce the brand and our new sensory shopping concept.”

The official launch date of Søstrene Grene, Lincoln will be announced very soon.
