Leading alternative lender ThinCats has provided funding to award-winning experiential bar group Little Door & Co, supporting the next stage of its growth with plans to open two new venues in 2026, including its first site outside the capital.

Founded in 2014 and run by managing directors Jamie Hazeel and Kamran Dehdashti, Little Door has carved out a distinctive niche in the UK hospitality market. The brand pioneers an imaginative “flatshare” concept, styling each venue around a fictional home to create a house-party atmosphere.

Following the success of its pilot site in Notting Hill the brand has expanded across London with five distinctive venues. The Little Blue Door, a 220-capacity split-room site on Fulham Road, voted top of Tatler’s “Best Bars in London” list within six weeks of launch and named Best Bottomless Brunch in London by The Evening Standard; The Little Yellow Door, a split-level venue just off Portobello Road and now one of Notting Hill’s most talked-about late-night destinations; The Little Orange Door, a 180-capacity site near Clapham Common; and The Little Scarlet Door, a two-floor Soho venue inspired by a New York loft apartment Winner of New Hospitality Business of the year 2023 at the London lifestyle awards. Most recently, the group opened The Violet Door in July 2024 in Soho.

Named New Hospitality business of 2025, the team is eyeing its’ most ambitious year yet with funding from ThinCats supporting the rollout of two additional venues, one in London and one further opening out of London.

Dave Sherrington, managing director at ThinCats, commented: “Little Door has built an outstanding brand with a clear identity and strong customer loyalty. Their differentiated concept, disciplined expansion strategy and experienced management team position them well for continued growth. We are delighted to support Jamie, Kamran and the wider team as they embark on this exciting next chapter.”

Jamie Hazeel, joint managing director at Little Door & Co, added: “This funding marks a significant milestone for the business. ThinCats understands our vision and our ambition to scale the Little Door concept while retaining the creativity and individuality that make each site special.”

With strong brand recognition, award-winning venues and a clear growth strategy, Little Door is poised for its next phase of expansion, further strengthening its position as one of the UK’s most distinctive hospitality operators.
