Poppets, part of the Valeo Foods Group, launches Poppeggs

This Easter, Poppets, part of the Valeo Foods Group, are excited to crack open something bright, bite sized and perfectly poppable: the launch of Poppeggs, a colourful new addition to the seasonal chocolate aisle.

Poppeggs were dreamed up as a fun, modern twist on classic solid chocolate eggs. The idea? A playful, light-hearted treat with a memorable name and a simple mission: to bring joy, colour and shareable chocolate moments to Easter 2026.

Perfectly popping with colour and crunch, each bite delivers smooth, solid milk chocolate wrapped in a crisp, colourful sugar shell. Designed to be bright, simple and shareable, Poppeggs offers a fuss-free, feel-good chocolate experience that works for snacking, gifting, sharing with friends, or keeping all to yourself.

Available in an 80g bag (£1.50 RRP), Poppeggs sit comfortably within the mainstream Easter chocolate category, offering strong value compared with similar solid chocolate treats. Designed for multiple Easter occasions, they’re just as suited to everyday snacking as they are to gifting and family sharing.

Poppeggs follow Valeo’s tried-and-tested internal tasting process to ensure consistent quality and familiar chocolate taste, while being affordable and fun for families during a cost-conscious period.

Sustainability sourced and responsibly made, Poppeggs use Rainforest Alliance Certified cocoa and align with Valeo Foods UK’s wider environmental goals, from reducing unnecessary packaging to using recyclable materials where possible.

“Poppeggs were created to bring a sense of fun back to Easter chocolate,” says Michael Inpong, chief marketing officer at Valeo Foods UK. “They offer a straightforward, solid chocolate experience in a colourful, playful format that feels accessible for families during the Easter period.”

The launch taps into the growing trend for smaller, shareable seasonal treats, designed to fit multiple occasions beyond just Easter Sunday. Marketing support will focus on in-store visibility, seasonal aisle activation, retailer digital promotion, and light social content that brings Poppeggs’ playful personality to life.

Poppeggs will be available nationwide from 1st January 2026, perfectly timed for Easter planning, seasonal resets, and popping into shopping baskets everywhere.
