The Perfume Shop, the UK’s largest specialist perfume retailer, is celebrating raising £2 million for Alzheimer’s Research UK, marking a major milestone in its long-standing partnership with the charity.
The achievement reflects years of fundraising efforts across the business, with colleagues, customers and partners coming together to support the UK’s leading dementia research charity through in-store donations and several fundraising challenges across stores, distribution and head office.
Customers have also played a vital role in reaching the £2 million milestone through generous in-store donations and, more recently, by choosing to donate through Pennies at checkout. Following a successful trial, The Perfume Shop rolled out Pennies across all UK stores earlier this year, enabling customers to add a small donation to card payments in support of Alzheimer’s Research UK.
To mark the milestone, members of The Perfume Shop leadership team took part in a charity walk on the 3rd June, setting off from the Alzheimer’s Research UK’s offices and raising further funds and awareness for the cause.
