Biomel expands award-winning Love Your Gut health range with new Protein Drinks

Biomel’s award-winning Love Your Gut range is raising the bar for functional nutrition with the launch of its new Protein Drinks, combining its signature gut-health credentials with plant-based protein in one delicious on-the-go drink.

Available in three enticing flavours – indulgent Chocolate, rich and creamy Vanilla, and bright and bold Matcha – the new Biomel Protein Drinks will be available in Whole Foods from 1st July, and Ocado later in the summer, with an RRP of £3.00 per 330ml bottle. The range will roll out more widely from autumn.

Designed to support gut health, muscle health, and overall wellbeing, each serving contains billions of live cultures, 20 grams of complete plant-based protein and 7 grams of fibre – bringing together three key nutritional benefits in one convenient and great-tasting drink.

They also contain added BCAAs (branched-chain amino acids), including leucine, isoleucine and valine – essential nutrients for a higher-quality protein blend.

The nutritional benefits don’t stop there. Each bottle contains 20 different vitamins & minerals, to support general health, while the fusion of protein and fibre helps keep you feeling fuller for longer. Better still, it’s low in sugar with less than 2.5g per 100ml.

Proudly made in the UK, the plant-based range is also free from artificial sweeteners, gluten, lactose and GMOs, making it suitable for a wide variety of dietary requirements.

There’s no denying the importance of protein, from maintaining muscle mass and strength to contributing to overall wellbeing. With adults in the UK advised to consume 0.75g of protein per kilogram of body weight each day, and older adults and active individuals often requiring more*, the new range makes it easy to reach daily protein goals, while also looking after gut health.

By combining award-winning taste with functional nutrition, Biomel’s new Protein Drinks prove that looking after your gut and increasing your protein intake doesn’t have to mean compromising on flavour.

It’s not just Biomel’s product portfolio that is growing either. The company is also expanding its operations beyond its London headquarters with a new Innovation & Production Centre facility at Prologis Park Hemel Hempstead in Hertfordshire, due to open in Q4.

With all Biomel products home-grown in the UK, the new facility will enable increased production to meet rising demand, while bringing together the space, location, and infrastructure needed to develop category-leading products and scale efficiently.
